I don't thing DD will be helping me post anything on this board. She is not very happy about us going on this cruise without her! She doesn't want to hear ANYTHING about it. She particularly doesn't like the
DISBoard because the more I go on and find out the more I talk about it and the more guilt she tries to heap on us.

Oh Well, I'm still going and I'll get over the guilt.
Actually, I'm trying to talk DH into giving her a dog to make up for us leaving her. So far no luck but I'll keep working on him. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Teens are great about laying on the guilt. They're the first ones to complain when we're not home and leave them alone, but they're the first ones to run out when their friends call and leave us alone.

DH & I always tried to squirrel time away from the kids. Now that the kids are grown (yes, they did survive us leaving them) DH& I look back on those times and memories together as precious.

Think of it this way: they'll appreciate you more when you get back!

I think most of you know my oldest son is off to VA Tech in the fall (as soon as we get home from this cruise). Of course sending your first born off to college is hard for any mom, I am sure I will have a little extra burden to bear. I found this AP story and thought you guys would like to read it.

Despite Shootings, Virginia Tech Beats Enrollment Goal

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) - Virginia Tech says it will have a freshman class of more than 5,200 this fall.

That's up slightly from last year and exceeds the university's target of five thousand.

The school has received deposits from 5,215 freshmen, drawn from its largest ever applicant pool of 19,579. No one was pulled from the waiting list.

Officials say seven students said they were declining Tech's offer of admission after a student shot and killed 32 people on campus and then took his own life.

The slayings by senior Seung-Hui Cho in a dormitory and classroom building came two weeks before the May 1st enrollment deadline.

I teach a business class at a vocational school. I taught middle school and high school business education before I had my 2nd and 3rd children. Then I was home for 12 years. Now I have my very part time job.

To post a photo, most people set up an account like at photobucket.com. Its free. There will be an upload button, click that, it asks where your photo is, you browse over to your computer to its location and click upload. Once its uploaded, there will be a url and an img. copy the img pathway and post on this thread or copy the url, and add

to the back end of the url.
There is also a photo sharing place on the DIS board. Its under community photos http://www.wdwinfo.com/photopost/index.php. Pick a category to stick your photo, click upload photo and upload it there. Copy the url by right clicking on the photo/properties. Again post on here and add the img.

the number up there is the post number. When its hits some round number like 2500 its a pirate of some sort.
