Okay, just finished catching up! I haven't been on since yesterday afternoon, it must be a record!! :goodvibes

Anyway, I just finished preparing for the BIG FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION!! Believe it or not, as much as I know it's a matter of national pride...................I'M REALLY EXCITED THIS YEAR B/C MY DD22, will be in town for the first time since Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We've been down to see her but she hasn't been home in SO LOOOONNNNNGGGGGG! :yay:

We're having a barbecue on the beach for about 20 people which is a lot for us.....I hope I don't forget anything tomorrow!! Thx to all the well wishers!:cloud9:

Thx to Sandra for trying to put the tea together!

I am starting to feel the pressure of the upcoming trip.....between now and then............my DD17 has to go Rhode Island and Maryland for college showcase soccer camps.................we are meeting with our DISfriends in NYC to see Mary Poppins................we are seeing "THE POLICE" in concert in Philadelphia..............I think that's everything, oh yea, and we have to pack and get ready for the trip....................:dance3:

Hope all are well for the "holiday" and hope things stay quieter "across the pond!"

I just realized that we leave in 3 weeks.:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

For so long I've thought it was such a long way off and now there is only 3 weeks and I think I have alot to do. Now I have to make a list. I'm not even sure where to begin.

So I'll think about it tomorrow.

Does anyone have special plans for the 4th? We don't have anything planned. WE've been going non stop so this will be a day to relax.

Happy Independence Day!!!

Sandra

I can not even imagine those temperatures as I was wearing a heavy hooded jacket at the baseball game last night. It was so cool and damp in Pittsburgh!

Tonight was much nicer, but we had a game that began at 5:30 instead of 8:00 so the sun helped to keep us warm.

I don't think I will ever "ketchup" on all the pages that I have fallen behind...maybe I need to take the laptop to the ball field?? .

Had a big scare today, but it was one of those after the fact moments....I let our little dog out in our fenced in yard and forgot she was out, and went downtown. When I came home dh asked if I had let her out? I froze with fear when he asked, because then I remember that I did do it...well, the little neighbor boy brought her to the door. Our lower gate was open. There is no telling how long she wandered around and could have been hit by a car. It had to be either the person who reads the electric meter or the gas meter. Guess who is putting a lock on their gate?? If something had happened to my Princessprincess: Jasmine, I would have cried my eyes out! Well, that is my good and bad for the day!

Now I think I had better clean up the kitchen and head toward the bedroom. The poor dog is in bed that is for sure. She has done nothing but sleep since she got home. She must have had a real adventure...but she's not telling!:headache:

Sorry about the tea, Sandra, but it was a good try! Maybe something will work out.:goodvibes

Sweet Dreams everyone!:cloud9:

Glad to hear Princess Jasmine is OK. :) My dog (Last) Chance just caught a chicken out of the bushes and .....well you know what dogs do to chickens. She's gone to bed too, she's worn out from running away from me while I chased her with the chicken in her mouth, very tiring for both of us. ahhhh , life in the caribbean .

Harole Ann,
I'm so glad Princess Jasmine is safe and not hurt. You must have been so upset to find she was out.

Happy 4th.

My DS 12 and my DH are at Disney World playing in Disney's Salute to Baseball tournament so I'll be sitting on pins and needles tomorrow waiting to hear the outcome of their game. I think they'll have a great fireworks show tomorrow night so I'm happy for the team to be there to enjoy it.
It's a work day here for me tomorrow but I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July. I'm sorry I'm not in Disney with the boys but someone has to stay behind and get the family ready for this BIG trip! :laundy:

I"m sorry to say that Disney called and they won't reserve the Private Room at Palo for Tea. :sad2: :sad2:

She suggested that we try to get reservations and then ask to be seated together. She obviously has no clue that there are no reservations available for tea, it's completely booked.

I'm sorry to have gotten everyone's hopes up.

Sandra

Sorry it didnt work

Kylie yesterday, now Catherine Tate is the new co driver of the Tardis on Doctor Who for the full next series. Are you bothered?:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It's overcast here, too -- and we are expecting thunderstorms right around the start time of the Macy's fireworks tonight, unfortunately . . .

Not posting much - we have company. But I have been lurking, trying to keep up. Hope everyone has a great 4th of July. The weather here has been awesome all week. Tomorrow we leave for 2 days at Yellowstone. Once I get back, time to concentrate on the cruise!!

Mary Jo, do you remember what your packing list update included? I already downloaded several packing lists and am combining them to make my own.
