Thanks Harole Ann - it really made my morning - I even decided against giving one of my classes a test because I was in such a good mood ;)

I'll blow a kiss to him for you, Helen, when I see him at Live Earth this Saturday! I'm sure he will know it is coming vicariously from one of his greatest fans . . .[/QUOTE]

Thanks Julie x

Thanks Helen, It was interesting. I have checked the Air France website several times and it says 2 bags 50lbs each checked and 1 carryon not including purse or laptop not to exceed 26 lbs.

I've been wondering why everyone was so concerned about weight. I didn't realize it was so severely restricted in Europe.

I just hope Air France doesn't change anything before we leave.

Sandra

OMG I have just finished watching CSI (Vegas) and it has left such a cliff hanger -- Will Sara be found in time? (The miniture killer has kidnapped her and left her under a car in the desert)

Has the new series started in the USa? I need to know - I cant wait until next year!!!

the new season starts in september here. the actress who plays sara is in contract negotiations. i haven't seen anything about in entertainment weekly or tv guide.

I"m sorry to say that Disney called and they won't reserve the Private Room at Palo for Tea. :sad2: :sad2:

She suggested that we try to get reservations and then ask to be seated together. She obviously has no clue that there are no reservations available for tea, it's completely booked.

I'm sorry to have gotten everyone's hopes up.

Thanks for trying! :) I appreciate the effort and the time spent organizing it if that means anything.......

Just had to share with you. Every morning @6:30 am I sleepily check the posts on the thread from the night before.

Yesterday morning I was half asleep, rubbing my eyes when the pop up message 'You have a new PM' appears.

The PM is from Harole Ann, and is called something nice to wake up too..

When I opened it look what I got...
Harole Ann , I'll take one with Johnny Depp :rotfl2:

I can not even imagine those temperatures as I was wearing a heavy hooded jacket at the baseball game last night. It was so cool and damp in Pittsburgh!

Tonight was much nicer, but we had a game that began at 5:30 instead of 8:00 so the sun helped to keep us warm.

I don't think I will ever "ketchup" on all the pages that I have fallen behind...maybe I need to take the laptop to the ball field?? .

Had a big scare today, but it was one of those after the fact moments....I let our little dog out in our fenced in yard and forgot she was out, and went downtown. When I came home dh asked if I had let her out? I froze with fear when he asked, because then I remember that I did do it...well, the little neighbor boy brought her to the door. Our lower gate was open. There is no telling how long she wandered around and could have been hit by a car. It had to be either the person who reads the electric meter or the gas meter. Guess who is putting a lock on their gate?? If something had happened to my Princessprincess: Jasmine, I would have cried my eyes out! Well, that is my good and bad for the day!

Now I think I had better clean up the kitchen and head toward the bedroom. The poor dog is in bed that is for sure. She has done nothing but sleep since she got home. She must have had a real adventure...but she's not telling!:headache:

Sorry about the tea, Sandra, but it was a good try! Maybe something will work out.:goodvibes

Sweet Dreams everyone!:cloud9:

Hi everyone! I've barely had time to lurk in the past few days, so I have a lot of ketchuping to do. :)

My dd, Kelly, spent the whole weekend at the Anime Convention at the Long Beach Convention Center, so she was happy.

I finally called my cousin in Spain & let her know we're coming out (after the cruise). I had rented a car so we could take a scenic drive to Gijon, but when she realized that there would effectively be two days travel time, she "recommended" that we fly out there... so, I booked flights on Iberia from Barcelona to Oviedo. The plane doesn't leave until 4:30pm, so I guess we'll be hanging out at the Barcelona airport when the ship docks until time to go.

Sleepy eyes tell me it's my bed time as well.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our U.S friends

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

Thank you to our friends across the Pond... I'm so looking forward to the day off!

:dance3: 3 weeks today I'll be in Barcelona !

(sorry excited )

I'm almost feeling like :scared1: -- So much to do!

Still raining here in UK - Forecast is bad all week.

Two of the girls in the Year 2 class I teach gave me a picture they had drawn during wet playtime.

It was me with Mickey and Minnie on thier big ship. :goodvibes
Even the children know how excited I am :confused3

Awwww. That's so sweet!

That was such a nice thing to try, Sandra.

Glad Princess Jasmine is okay! What a worry that must have been.

.... so, um, you like baseball, huh? :goodvibes

Great quote, and one to think about as we leave places behind. :goodvibes

Your Vacation begins in 24 Days

Thank you for these reminders, Andrew. :woohoo:

Well as far as I'm concerned the poo is really falling  :cool2:
I hope things work out for you, Izzi.

Ok, so far, I've printed MJ's packing list (thx!); and printed my online signature form (I also printed the stateroom order form in case I do order that champagne!)..........so now it's time to start packing!!!:scared:
I've updated the packing list as recently as yesterday.

Also, if anyone has any ideas that I missed, I'd like them too. :)

We are back from our weekend in Atlantic city to see Jimmy Buffet. It was a fantastic concert. He played a lot of old stuff and some new songs from his latest album. He even played Bruce Springsteen's Glory Days because he was at the Jersey shore. He did a great job with the song. There's also a pre party- the Maragaritaville snack shack gives out free shrimp, virgin margaritas., and has free raffles tickkets for hats, shirts, and coolers. You definitely knew who was attending the concert as you walked the boardwalk- the parrottheads were out in full force! To top it off, our best friends called us about an hour before the concert to say Happy Anniversay - we ddin't know they were standing about 50 yards from us because they were going to the concert, too, but they didn't want to tell us becuase they didn't want to intrude on our anniversary. We got together after the concert. It was a great weekend.

About the on-line forms- do we have to use them or can we just sign in the booklets that come in the mail?

I hope everyone had a good weekend. There's just too many pages to ketchup. .
I've always wondered what the term "parrothead" means -- sounds like a lot of fun, and congratulations on your anniversary.

I was just checking to see what ships will be with us in each port. It seems that we'll be mostly by ourselves except for 2 other ships in Naples and one other in Rome. We are the only ship docking at Olbia & La Spezia! I know it's been posted already but can't remember by whom so her it is again:

Maryann
This is cool information. Thank you!

I will post this a few times for those who missed the original posts:

Children's gift bags
.... If you would like your child to participate in the kid gift bag exchange, please send me a PM as well post here if you like. I am going to match up girls and boys as close to their ages as possible. So, please send names and ages.
It will be $15-20.00 dollars- one gift per child, those who have more than one child, if this is too much, please let me know and we will change it to 10.00 dollars, although here in the US, 10.00 will not get you much!

so far we have:
Carley 13
Alice 12
Stephen
Izzi's boys 9 and 11 ( sorry Izzi- I will go to page 1 to get their names ASAP!)
That's great that you're putting this together -- more fun for the Rome-ancing the Mouse Cruise!

I just noticed my new signature.. Thank you Tag Fairy.. you are very loved!!!!

:lmao: I'll never look at a propeller beanie the same way.

Don't tell Dave! I read on a blog that they take you up to Deck 9 and you are announced on the large screen up there!:rotfl2: :thumbsup2

I read that, too. :goodvibes

I usually like to go to Parrot Cay, it's more relaxing (they serve you instead of a buffet.) After a day of travel, I like to relax alittle! Usually, the later you arrive the more likely that you will go to Topsiders.:)
This is a great idea.

I have been popping in and out on this board, lurking more than anything, but I had to share this with you all. Here we are, about 3 weeks out from the cruise and on my way into work today I was involved in a minor car crash. No injuries, thank God, but the other driver jumped out of his car and stormed back to my car. I jumped out and noticed that he was a dwarf. He looked up at me ( I am 6' 4"), and angrily said "I'm not happy!" To which I replied . . . . . . .

"Then which one are you, Grumpy?"

[Note: this is a joke -- it did not actually happen, but when I heard it, I had to share it. Back to your regular programming.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Too bad that I can't forward this as an email very effectively... I'm only 5' ... Unless I reverse the roles :upsidedow
