Thanks Maryann. I have't posted much lately but I'm definitely a lurker.
We're building a new house ( lost our home in Hurricane Ivan in 2004) and my son and husband left today for a week at the Disney Sport complex to participate in a 6 day baseball tournament so life has been a bit too busy.
But as a lurker, I certainly appreciate all the humor and help here.

I will post this a few times for those who missed the original posts:

For you Doctor Who and Kylie fans

Kylie Minogue on board for Titanic festive special.

We're all feeling lucky, lucky, lucky that Kylie Minogue is to take a major lead role in the hour-long Doctor Who Christmas special, to be broadcast in December 2007.

Especially for you, Kylie will be travelling light years to join David Tennant for the episode, Voyage Of The Damned, which starts filming in July in Cardiff.

"We are delighted and excited to announce that Kylie Minogue will be joining the Doctor," revealed Executive Producer and lead writer Russell T Davies.

"Doctor Who Xmas specials are always a joy and we feel very confident that this will be the most ambitious and best Christmas episode yet."

"It is an incredible thrill to be joining David and the entire Doctor Who production for this year's Christmas special," added Kylie. "Doctor Who enjoys a unique history and it is going to be very exciting to be a part of that."

The production team has also confirmed that the story, written by Russell, will follow on directly from the ending of series three where viewers witnessed The Titanic crash through the Tardis wallså

Full details are currently under wraps, with more information to be announced shortly. We'll confide in you as soon as we can. The fourth series of Doctor Who will be back in the Spring of 2008.

I have been popping in and out on this board, lurking more than anything, but I had to share this with you all. Here we are, about 3 weeks out from the cruise and on my way into work today I was involved in a minor car crash. No injuries, thank God, but the other driver jumped out of his car and stormed back to my car. I jumped out and noticed that he was a dwarf. He looked up at me ( I am 6' 4"), and angrily said "I'm not happy!" To which I replied . . . . . . .

"Then which one are you, Grumpy?"

[Note: this is a joke -- it did not actually happen, but when I heard it, I had to share it. Back to your regular programming.

This is hilarious! Thanks! :teeth: :rotfl2:

SAallie - noticed it last night but thought that you had input it - that is totally coo! :dance3: :thumbsup2

Got an email from DCL last night about my online check in. They advised that they had sorted out the problem and that I should try again.

Well I tried last night and couldn't even retrieve my reservation as the system was looping. So I tried again this morning and they haven't done a thing, it still won't let me select anything other that a WDW hotel

I've sent another email but the language is geting a bit stronger

Reminds me of that famous quote...

Hi,
We have 5 people signed up for afternoon tea at Palo. We need 12.

For anyone who hasn't attended tea at Palo, you are really missing an incredible treat. It's more than tea. Think of it as afternoon brunch with more desserts. DH went with me last time and really enjoyed it. And tea is not usually his thing. Also, it's another meal at Palo and costs only $5.00.

So come on and join us. I'm trying for the last sea day, Tuesday, 8/7.

I never put in a hotel name. Did you have to do it when it asked you where you were going after the cruise? We are going to an airport, are you going to a hotel?

Since I travel with a minor who is not yet allowed in Palo, I haven't had the chance to dine there yet. (I did peek inside once to check out the decor.) I would enjoy the opportunity to eat there -- the tea party sounds fine to me -- count me in. Thanks for the invitation!
