Well with the Concert for Diana coming to an end I can honestly say I think it's been an 'awesome' event and not one drop of rain

You are in my prayers. My mom, 89, lives with us and I think I'm going to have to get someone in for her when I go back to school in Sept. (if we can wait that long). The dr. says she doesn't have alzheimers it is just age related dementia. Other than that, she's healthier than I am. She is mobile and luckily doesn't cook anymore. It is really hard. Our kids and my cousin will take care of her for the two weeks we'll be gone. We've never been away 2 weeks before and it is a lot to ask, but they all said not to worry and they'll take care of everything. If they're still speaking to us when we get back.......

It's great that you have family taking care of her - I'm sure it'll be a needed break for you.

Well I spoke to DCL about my inability to check-in and they can't fix my problem. They've input my flight details but I can't put my disembarcation details in because it's not allowing me to put a non-US hotel in and they can't fix it.

They said I should try again next week

I think it's ridiculous that this is so hard for them. When did they begin offering these cruises? There was plenty of time to get prepared!!

DH Paul just said he couldn't wear a cap like that ......what a party pooper

I must say that my DH wouldn't wear it either. Guess they just don't have the same sense of fashion that you do

When I reserved something in Sardinia, it said I couldn't book it because it interfered with another reservation. I saw that you were linked with us then, but I thought you linked us- I didn't realize that we were linked for everything!!!! Maybe that happened when I changed my cabin to yours??????

Will you be sleeping in between Andrew and the missus??

I am having six months cutting back, -after the cruise, still have to get to 10,000 posts by the cruise, maybe this week??

Sweet! Sounds like home (California, at least the Bay Area, is so anti-smoking that smokers are almost second class citizens). Now if only we could convince Disney to make the Magic entirely non-smoking inside...

Good night everyone. There was someone who asked if anyone would be visiting WDW and was looking for cross stich nemo (?? - I think this is what it was called, I apologize I can't remeber who it was). I said I was going July 2nd and would pick it up.

If you are still interested and you know where I can pick it up, I will be more than happy to get it. I will check here again early in the morning before leaving.

We just went on the Discover card site. No wonder you never heard of it. It is accepted in USA, Canada, Mexico, the Carribbean & China!!!

Our local newspaper said it is a great card to use overseas that charges no fee. You think they would have investigated further - not Europe but CHINA????

Morning all, not so much chatter last night to catchup with you all must have had a very busy Sunday.

I've bowed to the pressure and I'm not getting the Lime Green baseball caps for the boys...they just don't seem to have my sense of sartorial style

Hey Andrew - if your out there - where are you staying at? I am looking to book my precruise stay for the repo. The hotel I wanted to stay at is booked and remembered you saying that your hotel was pretty central. I found one tha might work and seems central but I lost it now. I'm using Ex..... dot com and can't find the hotel again. Oh well, if you can - let me know - I think you said that its also close to HRC so that may work for me - just a solo traveler but mahy have friends booking at the same hotel.
