Hey all, Happy Saturday!! We are not doing the fish extender but we are doing the grab bags..................we are scheduled to meet at the Promenade Lounge on Deck 3 at 9:30am........................on Sunday (our first sea day!)

Andrew, do you want to meet at checkin for the Palo brunch ressie? Would that work out best?.............We are going to try to check in at 12, but, of course, with traveling to an unfamiliar place, we could run into difficulties??..............Another time could be after the lifeboat drill? What do you think?

Wine tasting usually is booked at Guest Services b/c you pay and get tix there.

Great idea or buzz my stateroom phone to confirm, I have to go late afternoon. I expect to be at the port early we are just up the road so a taxi will be quick, I intend to book it for just after breakfast.

I think they just want to check we will all go,

Oh, forgot to mention that I got a letter from DCL about our VIP Vatican tour. We will not be stopping at the Trevi fountain and may not be able to see the Pope's private car collection because of security measures.

To be clearer..............I was planning on doing a family grab bag, not a kid grab bag as all my kids are pretty old.................

JoAnn, I know this isn't at all what you meant, but I suddenly had a vision of an old person's "kid grab bag" -- perhaps with denture adhesive, incontinence supplies, a souvenir walking stick, etc., etc. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Joann, I'll make a note to do this as early as we can. I'm waiting for the next set of 11 day Navigators to come on line. I think that will give us a better indication of what DCL in case they made adjustments.

I think the general grab bag we are doing at the Dismeet on Sunday will be like that . . . and I promise not to put anything weird in mine despite that earlier post! I have to go to Chinatown this coming week with my oldest daughter to get some art supplies at Pearl Paint and I might look around there for some things for the grab bag, as well as little fish extender gifts.

Going to Helena for a softball tournament.

I think I'm going to order euro travelers cheques for the private excursions that accept them. Then I'll use ATMs in Europe. But, I ordered a paypal debit card for Europe, it's taking awhile to get one that works - wish me luck!!

HI Leslie, I think some of the private tours take US travelers checks, you may want to check on that as it would probably be a lot easier to get.
