Just an update. Islandmom3 has been found! Just to clear up any question,
we do have an opening for 2 more. (Islandmom3 was always on the list....someone else dropped out.)
If you do want to join the #2 Group for Brunch at Palo here is the information:

It is for Aug 3rd at 10:30 am. DCL has told me we DO have the private room (YEA! I have always wanted to eat in there!)
We have 11 in our group now.
I do have to have your name(s) and your reservation number (I do not need your cabin number.)

10 pages of post since yesterday. Whew!

Late night. 'Oklahoma!' was great. I think the Governor was there. But late getting out. 11:30pm. Following work and summer camp for both DDs, everyone was exhausted by the time we got home. I said it was good prep for Rome/La Spezia excursion days.

My thanks to Andrew for setting up the brunch. And to Mary Jo for arranging our private in Naples.

I'm coming to terms with staying w/our DCL excursions in Rome/La Spezia. But still hoping that a few more of you will want to band together and do our own thing. PM if you have interest in either of those ports.

Finally, a bit of housekeeping for my DD 16. She has finally realized how close we are to leaving (Duh!) and now desires to e-mail/chat/IM with some of the other kids her age before we get on board. She hasn't had much luck with the teen/tween board and says she needs their first and last names to add them to her MySpace acct? So, if you have a DD or DD around that age that wants to make contact please PM me and we'll try to get them connected.

We are booking this for the morning of July 27, and we have to book for 15 to get a private group - which means we will have some open spaces, probably 4 extra spots.

If anyone else wants to join for our private tour, send me a PM. We are doing the "be a pastry chef" for a day, where the little kids make their own chocolate figures.

I'm only bringing my wedding band as much as I like to show off my jewelry - I'm afraid of what can happen to it in Barcelona, Paris and Paris DL. So I worked too hard to hand it over to someone else so they unfortunately will be staying home. Am wrestling with costume jewelry though. But I like the idea of accumulating things enroute!

I agree - I love the look of concentration on your face Helen. I also love Floss - she's adorable. How old is she again?

Floss was 2 yrs old in December.

I never really thought about Jewellry. I have always worn my wedding, engagement and eternity rings when I travel - They don't come off very easy.

I take costume necklaces, earrings, braclets and such.
