Me either - hopefully - after staying up almost all night on Friday for the 10K, we were invited to an impromptu poker party last night that went to the wee hrs of this am - 6 am! I finally woke up at 1 after getting to bed at 6:30. But right now my eyes are like sandpaper. Wondering what time I should go to be tonight.

me neither - I am so exhausted from this weekend - it is 7:30 here and I have been struggling to stay awake since 5:00 or so - busy with softball games, company, party and being a good host - I just wanna go to bed.

Guess now is not a good time to tell you that while we arrived late: 10:45 pm - DH managed to come home with $160 dollars! I tell him that he's the MAJOR reason we are not invited back many times. He doesn't know when to play nice. Or if he does, he thinks that $60 dollars is being nice. (in all fairness, this was the first time we/our group has ever played No Limit - we usually stick to $0.25 or $0.50) Because Lord knows - I'm the perfect guest - I even help clean up - other people's houses - just not my own!

What part of Bucks County? We live in Newtown!

I don't remember what town we were in. I just remember having to go to the Buck's County Court House and meet Judge Sokolove. Which is funny because in MA there is a lawyer who advertises on TV called Jim Sokolove and he is kind of a running joke around here. You know the kind of lawyer who advertises, "Have you ever tripped on a banana peel? Call us we can get you the money you deserve!" I apologize to any legitimate attorneys out there.

Anyway that's about all I remember it was in January of 1993.

Ok, I am feeling like a total wanna be - I knew she got the big one - just didn't get the lingo (I'll go crawl back into my hole now)

Leslie - yeah - I managed to nab the 10,000....ummm... with help from a couple of people on this thread, Lynn and MJ. It was funny, I was in bed but DH was making some loud ruckus and I couldn't go to sleep. And when I would be on the verge of falling into the deep black abyss of netherworld sleep, he'd snort and put me on the edge again. So I jumped on to see where in the world it was - that night and the next morning - the boards were slow. 2 pages in over 24 hrs. Guess some people have lives other than the DIS!

Leslie - don't feel bad - I just realized I misunderstood you too. After dealing with books and inputting accts receivable when DH lets me, I shortcut all the numbers to K's and G's. Sorry - I type fast and the 0's slow me down.
