Mary Jo , thanks for the tip on having food in the room to settle in and the photo, that really brought it home to me. It's a great idea to help settle everyone down......or if not settle them down at least get a bite to eat.

There IS a buffet, but our dinner isn't until 8:30, so I want to have something in the room for a light snack before we go to the evening shows (of course, I really don't have experience in this, so I could be getting extra for nothing). The sweets are intended for the course of the cruise (notice I use the word "intended"), or at least not all at once.

Have you heard anything about the Vatican city tour? We have booked a private tour for Rome and they've asked if we want this tour. Any input would be great.

We have a private tour, too, and we're including the private tour of the Vatican. I heard that it is a good tour, and am looking forward to it.

I have another question. What exactly is the fish extender and how does it attach to the door. I've read earlier posts on this but now that I'm seriously thinking about it I'm not sure I understand what it looks like.

We have a three hour private guide with us, on our private tour of Rome, we will be met at the Vatican and if we get there before 10am, we get through the line and go straight in.

It is really worth it for their knowledge.

Its called that as outside every stateroom door there is a little 'fish' DCL put mail in it for your stateroom, you can order things like water on it.

People then put things on this banners etc to Extend the fish, i am sure someone has a picture to explan far better.

Suggest you upload it into something like PHOTOBUCKET, thats easy, you just open an account (free) and then click upload and it will go to your pictures in your computer.

Then the image in your ALBUM will show various I/D's one will say <IMG>

copy and paste that into your post and it will show.

So the fish extender isn't actually on the door, it's off to the side of the door?

I'm off to photobucket and I am going to follow your instructions and see what happens. If that doesn't work I'm going to have a rum drink in the hammock and forget all about this for a bit!!!! Thanks....once again for your help!

Actually Penny, school is now closed so aside from cleaning & shopping (neither of which I enjoy very much), I don't have to work for 2 months!!!

I love dancing - but Dave hates it - The only time we have danced was at our wedding.

I didn't know Disney did dance classes - I would go but I would be by myself, Do many people go by themselves -or would I be a gooseberry?

How and when are we getting the t shirts? I have a feeling that I may have missed something about this (and never did manage to go back and catch up after the cruise with my 10 year old). Neither I nor my girls will be wearing anything remotely lime green (sorry!) but we are usually easily recognizable since my oldest girl has red hair, the middle blonde, and the youngest is a brunette. I have said this before on the Dis and right in the terminal always have people come up and say "Are you bellelinus?"

Hi Julie - we mentioned how are we to recognize each other. I mentioned that I sometimes wear a lime green baseball cap and that I would probably put a lime green ribbon somewhere on my camera or headstrap. I also went out and bought this little t-shirt and shoulder cover in BRIGHT LIME GREEN.

I think that Aurora1959 AKA Carrie is working on getting us a t-shirt design with our tag sayings and little either scrolled around or superimposed on the head.

Pre- Meet BBQ.... Maryann, Anna, Wendy, Julie- and anyone who can come- let me know if July 14th or 15th is a good date for a get together bbq.. I live in Garden City, exit 17 on the Southern State Pkwy- about 25 min from Manhattan ( without traffic, which is only from about 2am-9am) otherwise in traffic, it can be about 45min to an hour).

Must wear beanie hat- and bring travel size pre- rolled TP- preferably pink

Sallie, the 14th is better for us. The 15th is DD & DSIL 1st wedding anniversary and they are having everyone over to celebrate. Don't worry if you have to have it on the 15th and we can't make it. We'll have pleny of time together on the cruise. Let me know what you decide. Thanks so much for asking and doing this.
