The first is a ship's picture (we were RCCL Explorer of the Seas) taken when my youngest daughter and I were getting off the ship in San Juan. The second is of me (or shall I say, a less-than-flattering view of part of me?) getting to the top in rock climbing (we did it three times and loved it -- boy, do you realize how high up you are when you get to the top of that wall on deck 14!). The third is my daughter at Horseshoe beach, Bermuda (note the pink sand and the bad weather). The last is of my daughter in St. Martin.

Pirates and phantoms and sandpaper toilet paper, oh my!!

Sounds like Disney could make a film out of that now!

Pirates of the Caribbean 4:Pirates and phantoms and sandpaper toilet paper,I will help them out with a script,-if they 'have nothing to go on', IE didn't pre order.

Great pictures, glad you had a great time, we can always put a rope up the second stack of the Magic if you want a climb again.

Your plan sounds great...............can you do a sample for us to look at before the final is done? I think I want to change my tag??:confused3

To which one? You've got a revolving tag - Andrew's moves but yours is ever-changing! :lmao:

Anyone ever watch that movie - The Never-Ending Story? That's JoAnn - the never-ending tag! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Seriously, I hope that as DCL plans the new (bigger) ships, they think about some of the more unusual aspects of the big RCCL ships -- ice skating (and ice skating shows) and rock climbing walls, for instance.

I'm not sure about the actual staterooms, I guess your travel agent could take care of that part later???:confused3

I know it sounds really whingy and it's not supposed to but.......... this is my 3rd DCL cruise and when I go next time I really, really, really want to get a suite. However every time my TA has tried to get one for our previous cruises they always seem to have gone already :sad2: So how do these folks get the cat 3 suites so quickly :confused3 :confused3

For CAT's 1/2/3, people fax DCL inventory control in advance and request rooms for certain dates, I have seen posts people putting them in now for the new ships

I have to admit I've had my TA do that for the the 2012 inaugural sailing of the "2nd" new ship. I think sailing a maiden voyage would just be so cool

To keep up with the competition they will have too!

As I believe I said to you before, in general there was no comparison between RCCL and DCL -- the quality and detail is just completely different and special on DCL. However, I do think that the bigger ships they are planning could borrow a few of the bells and whistles from the RCCL megaships. The prominade was pretty cool as a focal point to the ship, and if DCL did it their way it could be amazing. I would just hope that DCL's cautiousness over safety issues wouldn't prevent it from having ice skating or rock climbing, for instance.

I was thinking the same thing!!:goodvibes

Can't remember why I quoted this one - no doubt some witty elusive comment that flew away!

Hey I've lost my first tag and a new one has been bestowed on me.

Thanks TF:love:

Cool one! :woohoo: :woohoo:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Wanna know what I did. I screamed at them to go to their rooms and then I turned around and LEFT THE HOUSE slamming the front door behind me. I got in the car and drove round the block for 10 mins to calm down

I bet it scared your little ones and they said - where's mom going?

Kudos to you for leaving - I probably would have just played the screaming shrew and therefore added to their mental image of "mom has issues" ( I love that saying) :rotfl2:

Julie- these are so cool - always wanted to try rock climbing - was it fun? And your DD looks like a mini-me. How fun is that! The pictures are beautiful - thanks for sharing. Didn't want to take up too much space so I only copied one. But love the last one - your DD doesn't look shy! Good for you!

I like to take the moment to wish CONGRATULATIONS :woohoo: :woohoo: to whoever gets the 10,000 Major pirate: As I will be fast asleep when it goes

Well considering safety they were the first cruise ship to have fireworks on board. But they have to think big now hopefully Disney big rather than caution, there are a lot of cruise lines catching up and overtaking now.
