I'm out here - but I left off about 40 pages ago, so I am going back to that to continue to ketchup.

You know me too - every time I see that picture I think, 'wow that's what Helen looks like'. then I remember, no - that Jon.
I will be the one with the printout of names walking around - and staring at your name badge because I forgot who you were. Even though I just looked 3 seconds ago.
We are definately taking HP7. We will most likely be bringing the audio edition with us, and hope to pick up the adult print edition in England. Although, I fear that they wont be selling it at the airport, so I will have to order and have it shipped.
Of course, I will have read it within 24 hours of getting it, so it will only be something to pass the time on the 9 hour flight.
Maybe that's what my husband's problem is? Nah - I think it's kids.
Nice tag.
Shirt design update - I employed my coworker to try to shape the tags into a mickey shape. We came up with a better t-shirt design. As soon as I have all the tags updated (tag fairy has been super busy) I will share. And I think I have a place in town that can make them for us. I just might have to carry on a duffel bag.
I've never been on 2, but here's what I've read/heard so far:
So, I figure in terms of normal movement, I'll likely use stairs for deck 3/4/5 (very easy access). Use elevator up to 9. Walk down in either case.
- There can be noise - specifically low bass noise coming in from the clubs above. Comments on the noise is very mixed - some people are annoyed by it. Others don't notice it. Personally, I suspect I'll find any such noise muted and relaxing, so it's more likely to help me sleep than keep me awake. Be aware that that kind of low frequency noise is the kind that noice cancelling headsets can do a great job with.
- Deck 2 is great for getting off the ship - especially on this trip where it sounds like all the ports will be accessed via deck 1.
- Deck 2 is great for elevators. Since you're near the end, you rarely have to worry about the elevator already being full when it finally arrives.
Carrie - someday when that story comes out - you'll catch the look between your kids that looks something like this:or catch a comment that sounds like - "so THAT'S where I get it from!"

I already hear that all the time from the little one. It's hysterical. But there are just some things we did as kids that we have to say 'when I was stupid...' before we tell the story. Or - 'looking back on it now, I'm surprised I didn't die'
Funny - but it's all of dad's stories that are like that. Because mom was a perfect![]()

you
Congratulations, Mary Ann!!! Youyou
We're definitely taking the Harry Potter book with us. The issue will be who will read it first, my ds, Nick, or me. I'll probably have to get two different bookmarks because we'll both be reading it. I'm also taking Angels & Demons by Dan Brown - haven't read it yet. Nick is reading some Steven King serious, so he'll probably take that, too. Kelly doesn't much like to read books, so she'll probably take a soduko magazine to play. I also like to take crossword puzzle books to pass the time. I also have the audio book Watchers that I will probably download to my IPOD, since that is one of my all-time favorite books (Dean Koontz). I'll also download the DIS podcasts to listen to.
I bet there will be literally hundreds of copies of the Harry Potter book on the ship. I don't think anyone has yet really thought out the consequences of this. I can see it now...
It will begin with reports from the 7/18 10 night cruise, which will suffer a 80% cancellation rate as kids on that cruise realize that they're going to be at sea on Harry Potter release day and simply refuse to sail. A few lucky ones will get on our 7/28 cruise, where rates will suddenly tripple due to demand.
Excursions will be nearly empty on our cruise. The most common sound heard in the hallways will be "Mom! I don't want to see some stupid Roman ruins. Harry just found another Voldemort Horcrux inside a roll of toilet paper!"
Meanwhile, for the first time in DCL history, adults will have free use of the now empty kids pool and slide, as the kids will be hiding in their cabins reading. Kids programming will be completely empty, except for the packed public readings of Deathly Hallows in the Walt Disney theatre, which will be hijacked by the kids programming staff (all normal shows being cancelled of course).
The Oceaneer's Lab will also be open to adults, if only to give the youth counselors something to do.
Personally, I'm quite looking forward to the unique opportunities presented by this situation. I will, of course, be immune to the Potter-Mania, as the previous Saturday morning will already have been, as usual, my traditional early morning drive to Costco to pull one off the giant palette of books they'll have. I won't sleep again until I'm done - which, depending on the length of the book, will be sometime that night.
This will put me (and others like me) in another unique position in the history of DCL. For if any kid annoys me in the slightest, all I'll have to do is look him or her in the eye, and tell them to buzz off or I'll tell them how it ends. Thet'll scare 'em off like nothing else could.
And even more fun! Inventing fake endings to really freak them out! Oh, I can already see that this is going to be fun...![]()
I remember a while back someone was planning on bringing for the men in their families convertible zip pants. Have you purchased them recently? USA, store, on-line? Almost everyone carried them and now I have checked many stores and no one has them or are out of them (at least near where I am). I also saw some on-line - so far - some are nylon, some don't have all three sizes (which means I will have to order from two different places - I want to order three diff. sizes).
Thank you.
