OOOOOOHHHHHHHH so you're here when you're not here....SPOOKY

I posted that as people have mentioned my 'light' is on for the Dis when I have gone to bed, I think its the broadband and cookies as I do not log out, but just close the Internet down.

The time does change if I have been off a while.

some posts elsewhere Dissers posted the servers were unhappy covering less tables than usual due to not being at capacity, I think I read they usually cover 24 people the average was 17, so tips would be down.

Well if the ship is not at capacity that only Disney's fault as they should have marketed like mad here in the UK as it's the obvious choice for punters on a Med cruise :confused3 :confused3 Still it's not fair on the servers for them to miss out on the tips

Do you think I could cheat with the fish extender and use a wardrobe shoe hanger/tidy and just glam it up a bit ???

I must say I never got into the Fish extenders or dressing the door up, there have been some very nice ones that I have seen on the ship and over the years more and more, the only thing I did was put up an ENGLAND flag on my Verandah, during the Panama transit, so we could pick out our shutters pictures better, they were on the lock side taking pictures, I knew in advance from a Princess cruise through the PC its hard to find your pictures.

With luggage restrictions to USA, I didn't wish to add anything 'extra'

I fully agree and they could have filled the ship up, they seem to 'miss' the UK market, no UK travel agent offers it, even a tie in in a a DLP promotion, on DLP website would bring the cruisers in.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Paul and I have just been discussing that we've got to be really careful on this trip as we've not no way near as much luggage allowance as when we go state side. when we go to WDW we fly Virgin and we're allowed 2 bags of 32kg EACH. This trip we're going Easyjet and we're only allowed 1 bag of 23kg each. I'm seriously not sure how we're going to manage and I just HATE the thought of having to do laundry onboard :sad2: :sad2:

and it's strange because they seem to be pushing the 15th birthday thing at DLP a tie-in would have seemed an obvious move

Agree, I fly Virgin although recently in Economy they cut their allowance and I am flying Club on BA to Barcelona, but they have cut theirs as well.

Agree fully. With two new ships they should expand to include us, WDW and Orlando tourism now advertise here directly to UK market as they noticed a 20% reduction in UK visitors last year and want us back.

Due to the security at USA Airports, and thats against a strong pound.

Normally I hate paying for laundry services, but I'm starting to think that maybe this time, it being my first real vacation in a long time, I'll just ignore the expense and let Disney do the cleaning....

On the Panama cruise it was 14 nights so on the sea days the laundry was full we went there at 6am thinking no one would be around had to wait 30 mins for one machine, the sea days on ours will be packed! AVOID.

We will be gone for 3 1/2 weeks - will definitely need to do laundry. Since we get into Barcelona on the Tues before the cruise, I was hoping to do laundry right away - maybe on Sunday. I should be good then, don't you think? Then maybe send it out at the end of the cruise? We have an apartment in Paris, I'll be able to do laundry again then.:laundy: :hourglass :laundy: :hourglass

Cat 12 is a ''discount tool' DCL uses, it has only limited Cat 12's, but its the cheapest rooms, so when they get near to a cruise, they discount these only, hoping people on higher CAT's will stay in their's.

If they offered a discount on all available CATS we would all ask for a refund on the lower price.

It follows there would be reasonable upgrades from Cat 12, but a lottery, one some posts elsewhere Dissers posted the servers were unhappy covering less tables than usual due to not being at capacity, I think I read they usually cover 24 people the average was 17, so tips would be down.

Right, I'd expect them to stop offering category 12 once the ship has reached a certain capacity. what I find interesting is the vanishing of category 11 availability. For example - at this moment I'm only seeing 9 and 10.
Given that 10 and 11 were offered at the same price recently, I wonder if the lack of category 11 is due to them being assigned to category 12 reservations?

DS 2 just come downstairs (after going to bed) and the conversation went as follows

DS2: Daddy I feel sick, like my tummy is hurting
DH: well Ethan what would make it better ?
DS2: maybe something to eat (remeber he had a full fresh cooked dinner only 90 mins ago)
DH: like what..yougart, toast, shnitzle
DS2: is there a muffin ?
DH: no how about a warm donut
DS2: ok then

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Kids you gotta love 'em

Yes, can't wait!!! Tomorrow is my Science comp (equivalent of the Regents) so I have to proctor during the day and grade until the wee hours of the evening. So please, take it easy tomorrow. Otherwise it will take me until Friday to ketchup!!!!!
