I am checking to see of Laura is sending me a picture of the zip-off pants - don't know if I should just forget about them or take a chance and order a pair from on-line. I hate ordering clothes on-line or catalogs. I like to see them, feel them and try them on.

Okay, now that the pirate: game can rest for another 90 some posts, I guess we will have our pizza, watch some College World Series and relax!

Have a good evening everyone, and sweet Disney Dreams!:cloud9:

Found a special order form for TP for Med trips.

TP.jpg

Interesting -- I just noticed that DCL can't spell "Toilet paper" -- they call it "Toliet" as though to rhyme with "Juliet"?????? Of course, I also hear that Andrew is a terrible speller . . .

Wow. I was gone for just a little bit and another pirate: sailed by me. I'm just no good at this. Aargh!

Anyway, I've been looking for a review of a couple of our planned excursions and haven't found anything on either...

A Day on the Farm (Palermo)
Arles & Olive Oil (Marseilles)

We're already planning to dump a couple of other planned excursions. Just wonder about these as well. Please let me know if you run across reviews for either.

Thanks,
Brian

I think I missed a lot of this conversation from eons ago and I am too lazy today to ketchup. But, if you are referring to the zip-off pants for the fellas, then I purchased a pair a couple of weeks back at my local sporting goods store. They were designed for fisherman, but will work great for our needs.

If you cannot find them locally and resort to online I suggest REI.com or Campmor.com. Both have very good quality merchandise. BTW, I bought mine for about $20.

Have you checked www.allears.com? I don't know if there is any specific info about tours, but they do have a lot of variety of info if you dig. It is a shame that the booklet we received does not give enough detail, nor does the web site. Guess it's too new to Disney, too!

We are also sailing on the Magic on the 28th of July. I just discovered these Boards. Can't believe it is only 33 days until we get to Barcelona. We have 5 adults in our group - myself, my husband, our daughter and son-in-law, and our son. This is our 6th Disney cruise, including the first Panama canal cruise. It is the second for our kids. Just wondered if anyone else is doing the VIP Vatican and Highlights of Rome? Has anyone heard any review of this excursion and how big the groups are?:smickey:

:welcome: Golfmom! Glad to have you aboard.

Someone else wants to cook, I say go for it!

DITTO! I still haven't broken in my kitchen from when we remodeled 2 yrs ago. (I'm a little spoiled!) :flower3:

LOL, I could not help myself - I don't try to go after pirates, really - but I saw I had a chance - so I took it - guilty as charged. ;)

CONGRATS ANNA! pirate: :thumbsup2

Did you get a tag? :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Julie - Andrew has been unbearable! :lmao: I think he needs a dose of your loving, tender care, oh and don't feel bad - I can't make coffee or tea! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

NOTE: Please make sure you read the pirate titles - some have been adapted as of late recently! This can be said as this in from this chat. Wouldn't want to spill over our secrets from that other thread! :rotfl:

Hey - you weren't on that ship that lost on day due to a missing passenger were you?

I have a feeling that Andrew is going to need all the time between now and our cruise -- without my going away from the boards and letting him run wild -- in order to be tolerated by us once we all get together! I'll do my best. . .

I did see the pirate names!!!!!!!! Love it! I'm just totally relieved that the worst he could come up for me was "tea" bag . . .

No, our cruise was totally uneventful -- no lost passengers. When I get my act together I will post a few pictures.

It's great to be back and to know that the next trip I take will be to Barcelona!

That was hilarious!!

Hey all,

Hope you are all ok. Just checking in to let you know that we are going away tomorrow for the weekend. We have another flyball competiton.
Just in case you thought I'd run off with Jon ;) (Although he did ask) I didn't want you spreading any rumors in my disappearance.

Who needs pirates when you've got Jon :cloud9:

Flyball, yeah, right!!

:welcome: :welcome: :welcome: :welcome:
At the rate this group is growing, I am sure we can be the majority of any group on the ship!

But, please we won't be like the "Village People" that were on the one cruise that we were on!!!:scared1: On what a night mare!! It was a group from Florida and I know we have someone from Florida, but I can't remember who right now, but I bet they know who the "Village People" are! I will tell you about them sometime!!
I read somewhere else about a horrible group from Florida - I wonder if it was the same group? Wait, I think the group I read about was from South America - or were they South American, but from Florida - I don't remember. But, give us some stories . . .

I am just checking email - will try to assist you.

Great Assist!!!popcorn::

You earned it!

I thought the tracing paper kind was included! You mean we have to order to get that, too?

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
We are allowed 2 sheets per day free, after that it costs $$

I bought these: http://www.rei.com/product/731032 for my 12 and 13 year old sons. REI has a sale starting tomorrow - maybe they'll be included in the sale.

Hi all! I just had a question for those of you who have cruised with Disney before. We werent able to get Palo reservations online (:( ) Is it possible to get any reservations once we are the ship? If so, do we need to be there as early as possible?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My mom is almost heartbroken that she might not get to eat there.

Thanks :)
Right after you board, go to Rockin' Bar D and you will have the opportunity to book Palo (double check that location!)................try to board right around 12 noon and you should get the ressie that you want.............also, call each day b/c often there are cancellations at Palo!

COOL! - Can't wait. Details woman - details. Please! :cutie:

Thx! You know I need it!! HAHAHAHA................seriously, I'm going to steal it from the loo!!pirate:

Not if someone else beats you! :lmao:

:rotfl:
Everyone is so quiet tonight----What is going on?? Dinner time?? You mean someone out there cooks?:rotfl2: Oh, please don't let my dh know that. I try to convince him it is cheaper to eat out, and it really keeps the kitchen a whole lot cleaner!:lmao: He told someone that he sold my stove six months ago and I haven't missed it yet! Just a little bit of a stretch of his immagination:rolleyes1 . In all honesty, he is the better cook! Men usually are--they are not afraid to experiment with a recepie as we tend to follow the directions! Someone else wants to cook, I say go for it!
I can see why we both had the same pirate name, now!!:rotfl:

Weird coincidence........................:goodvibes

Anna - I was going to post them to you but realized that I didn't PM you so here they are.

Found these at Big 5 Sporting Goods in CA.

The Chocolate ones have a 'hidden zipper' on the right leg and a velcro pocket on the left side leg. One velcro pocket on the right fanny portion.

Hey what happened to my sizes? I used to have them come up small enough so that it didn't take up too much space but now their bigger. OOOOPPPPSSS - see I've been playing around with my defaults again.

Anyway, the beige pair has 2 hidden zipper flap pockets on the fanny portion and inside mesh lining - like swim trunks do? And the bottom portion have about an 8 inch zipper on them.

On both pants - if it weren't for the belts - they would only weigh a couple of ounces, shorts would be even less. The material - although nylon - is a soft thin type so might allow some air to circulate. They are both more of the swim trunk variety as opposed to the 80's style nylon.

Let me know if anyone has any questions.

P.S. - DH loved them - tried them on and said - Cool! :thumbsup2
