Dave and I are thinking about doing a long weekend in Paris in the October half term.

I know some of you are stopping there on the way to the cruise -any info would be really appreciated. (ie hotels, must see sights etc)

Haven't done Paris yet. We are stying in an apartment. So hard to find hotels with 2 adults and 3 kids.

How does that work??- not something I've tried before.....but happy to learn!
I'm completely lost- how can I print off something that can be ironed on to a shirt?
TIA for pointers

There are two approaches. The easy (but expensive one) is to find a local T-Shirt shop that does custom prints - they can take any photo and print it on a shirt. The result will look professional and should last a long time.

The harder, but less expensive approach, is do it yourself. You print the images on a special kind of paper called transfer paper. Here's a link to an Epson brand I've used in the past, and one to an Avery brand that is high rated (and will work on white shirts as well as dark). You then iron the image directly onto the shirt.
These transfers tend to look ok, and may fade after a while (best to wash the shirts inside out). When using transfers, keep in mind the following:

• Be sure to print on the correct side of the paper.
• Read the instructions! Some of the transfer require "reverse print" (printing a mirror image - something most printers are able to do and that can be set up in the printer settings).
• Use a good quality white T-shirt (cotton tends to work best, but read the instructions on each for more info).

Even assuming you waste a shirt and transfer or two during experimentation, it's typically cheaper to use transfers than do it at a store if you're printing more than a few shirts.

I was on that flight once. Literally stuck in the middle....

I ahve been to Paris on Eurostar and DLP on Eurostar, there is so much to say really, I would surch Paris and Paris travel it comes up with lots off stuff.

I like of course the Effile tower, and Arc de Triomphe Notre Dame Pompidou Centre Louvre

I really enjoyed Versailles.

I make a great smoked Turkey....

Put in oven.
Set to 350 degrees
Done when smoke alarm goes off.

Note - Take the Turkey out of the oven immediately. If you wait until fire department comes, Turkey may come out soggy....

OMG I look horrible. The photo is too large! Actually it was taken on top of the Contemporary at WDW after a dinner at Palo. It was later at night and I look like I have no hair because my hair is as dark as the night.
