Ok, what is everyone wearing for Pirate Night? DH & I are not into costumes so what might be some low-key ideas for the night. Normally, we probably wouldn't do anything, but you folks are so full of fun, we don't want to be left out!

I picked up a cheap and lightweight pirate costume. Whether I will have the space to carry it, and the guts to wear it, remain to be seen (odds are that if I have the space to carry it, I will wear it).

Wait, I just had a brainstorm. I can make a pirate sash out of TP, and a hat and a spyglass out of the empty cardboard tubes............

Maybe we can get the room stewards to make pirate hats and parrots out of towels?

Well - I have an update on the shirts I had been comisioning from my friend. I gave her the file in an email on Tuesday. And waited until Friday to hear back from her. It was horrible yesterday so I didn't call. Then this morning I get an email back from her that she is in Arizona with her mom. Her father died, and her mom is a wreck. She expects to be there for at least 2 weeks. So the shop is closed during that time. I of course understand, becuase family comes first. However I was a little dissapointed because she did some great designs for me in the shop with the first file I gave her.

So...not sure what to do at this point.

I'm also trying to ketchup. I feel so lost. I have only been able to check in twice in the last 2 weeks. I saw some packing lists, those look great. Helped me remember a few things I had forgotten. I'll keep reading to see what you guys have been up to.

If you have a list of tags, I'll be glad to take a crack at it. While not even close to being a graphic designer, as I recall the idea I saw earlier (with mouse shapes between the tags) wouldn't be too hard to do. Do you have a linke to the original design?

I have a computer question for you because you seem to be the computer guy I have been trying to access the disney cruise site all day and it actually shuts down and bounces me back to my opening page everytime I access my reservation. Would that have anything to do with the Norton anit virus on my computer and/ or does Apple seem to have some sort of problem that I don't know of ????

Well, I'm not an Apple expert, so I can't really speak to that. Also, you didn't mention problems with other sites, so I'm going to assume that otherwise your computer seems to be operating normally.

So here are my guesses in order.

1. You have turned off cookies, specifically for disney.go.com. Many "log in" type systems require cookies to operate, and being suddenly bounced back to a different page is a common symptom when they are blocked. Not sure which brower you are using, but you should be able to find in its help (or on google) instructions for manually setting cookie handling (which sites are and are not allowed to set cookies). Be sure you allow it for disney.go.com and disneycruise.com.

2. You have a firewall blocking access to disney.go.com. I think this is less likely, but it possible that Norton security would be involved here.

3. Some browser specific issue. Again, I'm not a MAC expert. To check this, try installing or using a different browser.

Hi Maryann,
We normally dress up for Pirate Night but most likely will not do much this time due to "packing light"!!!

On previous cruises our dinner servers gave us pirate hats etc.

The one thing lately that has happened - on a good note (i think) - i caught some of the Doctor Who show on SciFi. They just started airing Season 3. That was after showing season 2 all day Friday. I came into it near the end of the last few episodes of S2. Really good show. A bit corny at times. I liked the gal playing Rose. Not sure about the way the season ended though. I will have to try to catch up on S3 to see if it was a good trade. I can go back and watch S1 on bbc america, they appear to be really behind. Jon said that he heard bbc cancelled the show though, and that there might not be a season 4. I hope that wasn't true.

We have just had the full season three, a Christmas special with Kylie Minogue is in production and a new series in 2008, with an Assistant Catherine Tate from Christmas 2006 coming back (Runaway Bride)

Martha with go to sister show TORCHWOOD and return later, this show makes shed loads of cash for the BBC and is one of the most watched programmes here so not cancelled.

I block my cookies and often have this issue.

Wimbledon was great

We have British Interest in a final for the first time in 20 years!!!!

Jamie Murray is in the mixed doubles finals!!! We saw the quarter final and semis both played yesterday because of the rain earlier

Also saw Venus win and Federer get to the final.

Plus some invitation mens doubles
Fleming and Vilas

and ealier MacNamarra and MacNamee
An excellent days tennis beautiful weather Pimms and Strawberries on the hill. A perfect english summer's day

I just want you all to know that my mom, Salliep is actually going to the beach again. She has not packed one item, her house is a total mess, daddy just keeps wandering around saying, "poor me, poor Andrew", and to make matters worse- she won't let my sister Isabella and I play with this great toy that has a moving propeller on top. Do you have any idea how much kittens love moving, spinning objects???? Uh Oh!!!!Got to go, I think shes coming!!! ​

Life is less than purrfect, sometimes a bit cat-astrophic, soon your owner will be ofF on the Disney cruise feline, and she will be away furr a long time.

In the UK we have the RSPCA to look after pets, I am not sure if you have help there.
