This is my family at the gates to Yellowstone.

And here is one of just my kids. The DS on the left is Andy. He will be 14 in October. He is now 5'5". A good 3 1/2" taller than dear mom. DD will be 16 next week And other DS will be 13 in October.

Today we had our end of the year party, the students performed a play for their families and then we played games outside! At the end of the day, the kids didn't want to leave, they didn't want fourth grade to end! To be honest, I was a little teary-eyed when they left! It's funny but I now know how little I will see them after tomorrow!

I know what you mean - when I had my own class (when I was fulltime) I used to cry at the end of term.

Hmmmmm, this brings up a very good point.....if you have a lime green ribbon on your bag, you probably have toilet paper in your bag....therefore, you can be a TP provider while on a excursion..............

I just bought a lime green top today , but dont rely on me for tp.

The numbers on our cruise are growing and growing.

I know I'm not going to remember everyones names - so please forgive me in advance

I must admit , I am trying not to spend too much time on the thread as the sitting @ the computer is killing my back.

As a result I am skimming through all the posts. Please forgive me if I miss something .

Can I just clarify a few pointers -

Are we still doing the one gift bag from each family to be exchanged during the dismeet on the sunday?

Or another idea would be to have a toilet paper exchange -we could have an exhibition - toliet rolls from around the world

Is the dis meet still 9:30am prom lounge on the Sunday???

With regards to the wine tasting on the sunday- is this normally one set time or do they have several running like in the galley tour.
Just wondering so I can get tickets from guest services as soon as we board.

Hi all - we are looking forward to joining the Med cruise on July 28th.

Brief introduction:
Our names are Mark & Heidi Smithson and we hail from the northern burbs of Chicago. Our daughters (7 & 9) will be with us. We booked this trip about a year ago. We have a cat 8 room on deck 5 (5516), right near the relevant kids' clubs. This is the 2nd sailing on the Magic for the 4 of us. Our 1st trip was during Christmas 2005 (a last-minute decision, when our planned vacation to a resort in Mexico was disrupted by hurricane damage). We had a wonderful experience on our cruise, vowing to return.

Pre-trip, we'll be spending a few nights in Seville, Spain (visiting Heidi's host family from when she studied there during college), then a night in Barcelona. Post-trip, we're spending a night in London.

We're in the process of planning non-Disney excursions. It's quite an undertaking. Fortunately, the wealth of knowledge on this board makes it easier. So thank you!

Lanyard Status 6/14:
Order is Made!
Yesterday, I approved the digital image from the vendor and so they are in the process of making the lanyards as we speak! With the extra bucks that people included in their payment and I forked out a bit, I bought 9 extra lanyards with reels. I did order some extra badge reels just in case some show up dead on arrival or someone changes their mind and want one. ETA: 5 lanyards are left plus I have a request from outside of the group for 2 of the 5 left, but priority is going to you guys.
Disneylover is making name cards for the lanyards, so please contact her to let her know what name to print.

ORDER INFORMATION:
Design E is the lanyard chosen by our DIS group (see below)
Cost will be $2.63 per lanyard which includes a badge holder
Add $1 for each reel. Let me know if you want black or red reels. If you don't say, it will be black.
Total for a lanyard with reel is $3.63.

My DS graduates from HS on Monday and I will not be around for a while this weekend and Monday ...I can't stand the thought of 100 pages to go though!
