Hi everyone! We were just on the magic 9/29 - 10/6 and are planning on booking again in '09 - hopefully, there will be another med cruise.... so...
how much do we have to fork out for a med cruise - we prefer a verandah room for 2 adults and 1 toddler. We've already told ourselves that no matter how much it is... it'll be totally worth it!

A Cat 4 was about $14k for a familiy of 4.

It would be nice for DCL to come back to the Med, but the indications now is that it will be far closer to its usual home.

BTW, if someone books a cruise for you while THEY're onboard, do you still get OBC or the 10%?

Rumors on a Disney podcast said 2009 cruise to Alaska and 2010 Hong Kong. Andrew thinks it will be the Carribbean. We're planning a 2009 cruise, same time end of July/Aug.

Think of you whenever I use my lanyard! It was really so nice of you to do all that work.

Jeanne, where did you order the lanyards from? I also use mine all the time. I may order them for my son's 8th grade class - they are going to DC at spring break.

Alaska would be a definite maybe for us. Not sure about Hong Kong. We plan to go to Africa in 2010 and that just might be too much!!

Joanne - it's so awesome that your girls are going to study in Europe. Our trip definitely made my daughter interested in a travel/study program. She's only a HS junior - but she's been checking out the options at the various schools she's interested in.

It was so nice to get pms from Lisa, and then Andrew & Helen. I've been cleaning out my pm box, and can't quite get rid of the ones that we did when we were getting ready for our big cruise. It's fun and nostalgic for me to go back when so many of us had never met before. I'm glad you guys like the pens. I use mine at work, and always smile because it reminds me of all the fun we had on the cruise.

Things are way back to normal for us. Nick & Kelly are in school, and me at work - nothing new there. We're planning on going back to Spain in 2008. Both kids want to spend more time with the family, and I would like to spend time w/them, too. I'll share pics of Porrua. It's a nice little town. Our cousins are planning on coming out in 2009, so it looks like no big cruises for us for awhile. It would be so nice to do a cruise in the Caribbean, but air is pretty expensive for us.

I love to read your plans of getting together and cruising again, and if we can go, too, we'll definitely try it.

Ooopsss sorry - I have gone many times to start up again but somehow always get distracted. I will attempt again. I am now putting pictures into a photo album and its amazing how the memories get me all warm and fuzzy again. Makes me remember what I was feeling and how hot it was that particular day. So it will almost be like the real live thing. Ok - I'll try.

OMG! Should I mention that in my city along within a 3 mile block we have - I should know because we passed them all today - no less than 5 with another one scheduled to open just down the street about 1/2 from my house - and just down the street from a high school. Just what the school needs - coffee-crazed high schoolers.
