Hi everyone,

I have just come in from Wendy's home - she asked me to post some very sad news.

She would like to thank everyone for their good wishes and prayers and hopes to post soon. I can't believe I am typing this, but she received a call this morning that her dad passed away. It has truly been a roller coaster ride for her and her family. We all wish he had come home and/or at least made it to his hometown Cefalu.

I've had Brent a few times and I find him professional. He's not as much "fun" but he makes me feel like everything is "under control" which I like......overall, I found the Magic to be in top form, well-managed, and the crew was the happiest I've ever seen them! I made a point of thanking Captain Tom, as I feel he's the main reason that the ship gets better and better. I guess it's really a collection of hard-working people, but I did appreciate all the improvements in the entertainment, etc. Of course, all our opinions are valued!

Anna, I cant begin to tell you how profoundly sad I am. I really thought he was going to pull through, it is a shock to say the least. we enjoyed the cruise so much we booked another one whilst on board - 9th february 2008 Western Caribbean.

Regrettably, I must admit that I participated in the Water Ballet on the second sea day, after my darling wife graciously volunteered me. Moreover, I was declared the winner. My darling wife had possession of my digital camera and snapped many stills of the event. Fortunately she did not know how to switch from stills to movie mode. That being said, if anyone would like copies of the shots of the Water Ballet, send me a pm with your email address and I will email copies to you.

Having had a fun 3 days in Barcelona after the cruise...a big 'thank you ' to the Phelan family we finally got home about 1:30AM Sunday morning. The washing machine must have run for about 18 hours on Sunday as I mamanaged to get all the laundry done and dried as the weather was great.

Well it was down to earth with a resounding 'bang' yesterday as the alarm went off at 5am and I went back to work
