We leave in 11 hours. So much to do!!!!

Actually it seems to be all little stuff but it sure seems to eat up time.
My theory of early to bed and early to rise to help jet lag has failed. Today I didn't get up until after 8. Oh well there are always pills to help one sleep on an airplane. I didn't get the noise cancelling headphones and now I wish I had. I'll just take DH after he falls asleep. He'll never notice

Lots to do, so in case I don't get back on line, We'll see you in Barcelona tomorrow. Wow does that sound great. Praying for a safe journey for all.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM TODAY! I was thinking of changing my Lerici Beach excursion to Cinque Terre Boat Trip. I couldn't get on yesterday and today, they're saying its too late. I'm going to call!

It's almost 6:30am here, and in about half an hour we're off to the airport at last. I've had all of 2 hours of sleep, so if I do sleep on the plane(s) I should be at least partway towards synchronizing with Barcelona time.

I still think it will be pretty amazing if I actually make it to the fountain meet (in terms of being too tired after a gazillion hours on airplanes), but we'll see. Most likely I'll bump into people Saturday (hopefully not too hard, but stumbling will probably be my primary mode of transportation by then).

I feel less hurried this morning. But still plenty to do. I'll print the guide on pg. 1, as well as updated pack list. I'll see you guys at the Grand Marina Saturday for a drink before we head out to the restaurant.

Well, almost gone. I'm on hold w/DCL to try to change my Barc excursion. They said system was down nearly all day yesterday and now it has locked out all travel plans for us. She's trying to note my cancellation on the doc info for shipboard. Ah, the joys of travel!

Leaving for the airport in a few minutes. So excited to meet all of you on this, our "Do Over" cruise. Everyone have a safe trip and we'll see ya in Barcelona!

I've been waiting a long time to post that quote! We will leave for the airport around 1, and our flight is due to leave around 5:40. If all flights go well, we will have a change of planes in Dublin and be in Barcelona tomorrow around 10 AM.

I just called to try to change one of our excursions. I was on yesterday and the system wasn't functioning properly. Today, it said I couldn't change anything b/c I'm under 3 days to sail. So I called and was told that I can't change excursions by phone. Then, a supervisor was called and she took my exchange info and said she would call the shore excursion desk and see if was still available. Now, I'm waiting for a call back......They admitted that the website was flooded with requests yesterday for everyone.

One comment..........NOWHERE ON THE WEBSITE DOES IT INDICATE THAT YOU CAN'T CANCEL THE EXCURSIONS AFTER 3 DAYS BEFORE THE TRIP!

Excursions are expensive.....I think they could do a better job of communicating the restrictions when you book!!!
