Oh, and on a sadder note:

I'm going to go to a funeral today at 2pm. A coworker & friend of mine's father passed away two Wednesday's ago. He was more elderly and had cancer, so they knew it was coming. Her mother broke her hip the next day, and had been in the hospital. Well, as it turned out, her mother got pneumonia, and passed away Thursday morning. Today's memorial service will honor both her parents. I feel so badly for her. for my friend, Renee.

You know sometimes, this is a blessing in disguise, so they don't have to be lonely and miss each other (except, of course, for the rest of their families) Ken's grandparents died in a similar manner within 2 weeks of each other (and neither ever knew that the other had passed)

I know how you feel about the packing, I've decided to "bite the bullet" and try to get mine done...........hopefully I'll be finished tonight!

Same here! To be honest, I was lurking for awhile (and then I started to pack, I figured, why not.....everyone else is!) So I was being really cool, trying to check here and there and then I gave in and fluffed to the finish!! I'm sorry...........I'm thinking Pirate "Last to Leave?"

Helen where did you get your magnetic tape from? We got the printer sheets but my printer won't take them, Keith's going to try at work but I need a back up plan for my pretty signs.

Thank you - I was wondering how that was done - actually, I think I asked before, but never actually checked it out - I did it this time and it worked!! Thanks. So, after this post, 3 more and I'll be at 500 on this thread - that seems like a good number to strive for before I set off tomorrow am. It has been so fun today - telling people that I leave for Europe tomorrow - sounds so la de da!!
