I was thinking the same thing!

I was wondering about that too.
I haven't seen any advertising here, but haven't been looking either!
We've had it booked for a while and knew about it because we've cruised
Disney before. Actually booked it opening day, then had second thoughts and
switched booking to another cruise, then had third thoughts and added it
back! Glad we did :) :cheer2:

Maybe British travel agents are promoting the med cruises now? Usually it's
pretty hard to get any info at all from them on Disney cruise, even though
they all deal with Disney.

Some of my favorite entertainment CMs are from the British Isles.....do any of you remember Ian, Pikey, Ellen, or John?

tea?

what's nice?

Sorry missed typed -

I meant to say are you having anything nice for lunch?

I'm from the north - tea is not only a drink but a meal you have in the afternoon ( Think palo) but its not sandwiches and cakes;)

Ahh Tea. We usually have tea at work around 2pm. A group of us girls like to get together and have tea or coffee with some toast or warm chinese buns. This of course is in addition to our 9 am coffee break where we all have breakfast. It's just good for the soul.

Afternoon everyone....I'M BACK

So how was everyone's day ? I have to say mine was pretty nasty. We got our pay rise letters today and I got a big fat zero, nadda, nothing so that was a bit of a kick in the teeth. Hey Ho onward and upward I have much more important things to get on with...like getting back to chat with all you lot :goodvibes :goodvibes

Actually on a serious note tomorrow is a fairly big day for us. We have our school appeal hearing for Joshua secondary school. For those US folks who don't have to go through this here's a very quick summary. He in London you can apply for any school in London. You can select up to 6 school and then depending on the addmission conditions you get a position at one of them (hopefully) Well we were lucky and Josh got offered a place at our 2nd choice school but we wanted him to go to a faith school so thats the appeal hearing we've got tomorrow. Just me and our representative and a panel of 4 and the school rep. I have to admit I'm a bit freaked out by the thought of it so I need you lot to take my mind off it all

thanks

Andrew I contacted that Limo service you suggested and got us all sorted out
thanks very much it was really easy

OMG I'M IN THE TOP 15 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Ok Brits who's going to watch the penultimate episode of Prison Break tonight ?

OMG - I'm finally caught up - although by the time I'm done typing this I'll be behind again - kind of like laundry. You're never caught up with laundry unless your family spends significant time naked!:laundy:

We moved here just this past August (06) and will be here until Aug 09. So far I really like it. We sort of live out in the country side between Mt. Etna and Catania.. and the mountains, olive trees, and orange groves are a gorgeous change to the flat Indiana land i'm used to! ;) It was definitely a culture shock though to be honest.. especially with having children. It was hard to get used to not having drive thru's for banks, post office, food, etc. and dragging that big stroller out just to run a simple errand- things like that. It's been almost a year though and I think I have finally grown to love and really appreciate the culture here. The travel opportunities are amazing!

I think it's about 3 hours up to Palermo. I've been to the middle of Sicily (Enna) and to the mosaics, and agrigento temples.. and south and north of here.. just not up there yet. SooN!! can't wait!

Well, I was going to ask you where in Indiana - but I have since seen that it was Chicago area. I lived in the Chicago suburbs from 9 years old to 25 years old. Then my husband and I moved to Indiana - but Indianapolis area. So, never mind :lmao:

I was pleasantly suprised to be in the top 15!!

That poor woman!!!!!! When we went to Mexico last summer all the taxi drivers were yelling and pulling on us at the airport and it stressed me out and that wasn't half as bad as this story. YIKES.
A friend of mine got pick pocketed in Barcelona, they got their money and passports and it has continued to be a hassle for her because she's Australian and her she's being questioned by her embassy on whether she sold her passport or whether it was actually stolen.

That was quite freaky. I have spent time in San Fran and New York - hopefully I am street savvy - guess we'll see.

I was trying to catch up earlier, but I left off on page 359, I may not catch up until tomorrow.
This is a hard game of ketchup!! (thanks Laura for that term)
Great Photos
Ditto

Dan - you are too funny.
Dan, you are a funny guy - looking forward to meeting everyone!
