I went to blogger.com (aka blogspot.com). I already had a gmail account, so it was really easy for me to set it up. Then I just walked through their wizard and played with it. Mine is pretty basic right now as I haven't had any real time to devote to it. But if you want to check it out:

Somewhere I read that Lost was ending, I'm guessing that isn't true. I lost my interest after season one. We had too many things going on, and fell too far behind. I just don't really get into tv shows, so if I miss something I don't care.

I cannot believe you guys haven't mentioned 'Amazing Race.' It has really sparked my DDs interest in travel (and made our upcoming Med trip not so scary to them).

Regarding a blog, that's a great idea. I'll check into it.

We are planning to meet up and watch the Magic fountain the Friday before the crusie July 27th. We are currently deciding the time. A couple would like to go to Dinner @ a trendy restaurant called the 4cats. Either before or after the show.

We have not arranged the time yet, but it is proposed that we meet next to the right tower that is facing the fountain

Hotels

So which hotels are everyone staying @?

We are at the Hotel Cram pre and AC Barcelona after!

We will be staying at Grand Marina if this is where you decide to meet the night before the cruise...let us know!!

We are staying at the AC Barcelona the night before the cruise. I'm a bit worried about how the jetlag will affect me. DH and sleep through anything but I've never been able to sleep on a plane.

Okay, I just heard back from my TA. We were able to get Hilton-Diagonal-Mar-Barcelona. We have 4 rooms......anyone else here? We have 2 nights July 26 and July 27.!

The plan to meet at the Grand Marina and then onto the Fountain sounds good. We are staying at the Grand Marina so that is convenient!

I wanted a place with room for all 4 of us, in one room. So we are at the Husa Lilla. Not sure where it is in comparison to the others, or the fountain. But I will see what we can do.

We are staying in what is supposed to be 2 triple rooms in Royal Ramblas which if I remember correctly is at the top of Las Ramblas and close to EL Cortes Ingles. I'm sure I'll have to discover where this store is and shop there. Does anyone now if we can bring food onto the Magic from the local stores?

We are staying at the Hesperia Presidente. DCL hotel, but we booked it ourselves. Since there are 5 of us, I needed to make sure that we could fit into 2 rooms - those European hotel rooms sure are tiny!! I didn't mind getting 2 rooms, but several hotels wanted us to get 3 - no way!!

• Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides and Bois de Boulogne
• Latin Quarter and Musée d'Orsay
• Montmartre
• Opéra Garnier, Haussmann and La Madeleine
• Place de la Concorde
• The Louvre and the Tuileries
• The Marais, Pompidou Centre and Bastille

Paris metro can get you around very well, DLP is about 40 mins out of the city by Metro.

I went to Arlington Cemetary with my oldest DD's Heritage club. Its where you out-of-towners send their kids to learn about our Nation's history. Well, as I am an avid history fan - I just injected myself into the trip.

Anyway, have to say that visiting Arlington was a MOST MEMORABLE experience. Plus - I had a side agenda. Several years ago they opened up a Women's War Memorial for any past, present and 'm sure to be future woman service member. I, of course, being a past service member (Army) became a charter member by donating funds to get his built. In return they have a database with a little bio of yourself and your most memorable memory of the service. I had to admit - I did it as a way of preserving my little bit in history. As I sometimes think that the kids don't understand how great a move this was for me and my family.

Anyways, while there - I managed to sneak off and checked up on myself. This is a great homage to woman and I would recommend seeing if you have the time. Its not all that big but when you consider the ramifications of woman's role in war, history and in service to our country - I am proud to say - I have a hand in having this built. And if any of you have had grandmothers, moms, sisters or friends, its a hoot trying to look them up. If not - you can still have someone added. They have a website. If anyone is interested in finding out about this women's memorial - just pm me. Thanks.

Oh yeah - don't miss this historical landmark - and take tissues. I lost it at JFK's gravesite.

So excited we only booked two days ago, didn't think we would make it,there are 7 in our party and it was difficult to get a date that suited everyone.

Nothing really - that I'm aware of - I think it was in reference to getting post counts up. If you multi-quote - you don't get higher posts.

We are also flying the day we sail (I'm alittle nervous!) I'm a "Jo" too....any others??? So far there's been a fair amount of "Lisa"s but only one Helen!

I think they open @ 8pm - whilst it might be slightly early for most of barcelona I think it will be good as -We should be able to get a seat. Although I would be willing to organise a reservation -if you want. I will need to know details of how many would be coming.

Although we could do it the other way round as well - meet @ the fountain and then go for a late meal there. I am open to both - Let me know and I can certainly try and help organise!

Kyla, I think that this is another competition going one. I mentioned that on another thread there is a Queen of Multi-Quotes - there the winner was over 36+. Andrew, BelleLinus, do you know? FaiaryGodmother I think holds it.

Anyway, Seems that besides it being you can just multi-quote as you are reading each post instead of answering each individual post and then returning back to your spot. Aurora1959 has I think 32 mutil-posts so I think she's got the "title" for now. Haven't gone back to check some others.

But most of all its just fun to try. Some have had difficulty doing it as I did in the beginning but you get the hang of it. Also, it sorta of a memory grame to see if you can remember all the posts and why you quoted them.

Try it - its kinda fun.

You just hit the multi-quote and continue reading,then when you ready to reply just hit post reply and all your selections will come on. You can then edit and delete the portions you want to keep or delete. Good Luck!
