Oh yeah - James Woods (Shark) was there again but got knocked out yesterday. DH has seen him several times but is too shy to go up to him and say hi. I don't know about you but I think he's kinda cute in a different sorta way. Especially when he smiles, makes me think he's up to something.

I told you all that DH was EXTREMELY LUCKY! He lost but he placed & won about $8G. Yippee - tomorrow on to DCL to see if they have any more private cars! (We'll worry about Uncle Sam later!) I have a TOAL (Trip of a Lifetime) to pay for!

I found that for me the secret to success in poker is to play on a weekend, with a bunch of beginners who are drunk.

On a related note, I'm still wrestling with the Monte Carlo excursions. Right now I'm planning on taking the day tour of Monte Carlo that includes a visit to the casino. A few people in my group are planning on the evening visit. I wonder if anyone has thoughts on the matter?

i chose the evening casino because i thought it would be nice to dress up and hang out with the high rollers.

We were really torn about this. My DH is tempted to dress up and go on the excursion just to say like James Bond "martini, shaken not stirred".

But we too are on the day excursion and it might be a bit much being out all day and then a quick change to go out again. Plus the $100 each is also a consideration, and we really don't gamble. I don't know that after being so tired we can hang around for 4 hrs. It would be fun though.

Well, I really do have to get to DS's graduation. Will probably be gone all day. Don't post too much or I'll need a pot of caffiene just to read through what I missed.

Ah, foolish me. I though it was a short-sighted penny pinching corporate thing. Now that I understand that it was part of the war on terrorism, naturally I support the decision. I mean, can you imagine anything more damaging to society than the destruction of our primary source of Hershey's Kisses?

Don't get me wrong, i totally understand the business logistics. It's just another sign though of times changing. heck, all the US car makers are going bankrupt and closing shop.

Hershey though was one of the companies that actually went through the depression, staying above water, and coming out ahead. I had to do an economics paper on this in HS. The theory is that in down times, everyone eats chocolate. My added opinion is that it can't happen again because now they are not the monopoly, and there is far better chocolate out there.

But thanks for the laugh. Getting up at 5 am and reading that was funny.Now to just prep for my demo at 7.

Oh yes! I hope you didn't think I thought poorly of you. I was just trying to summarize the 'meat' of what we had been going on and on about yesterday. Aside from the little chit chat about, nearly nothing, I thought those were the threads that had 'something' to talk about.

Of course I probably forgot a few more. But those were the ones that i really remembered at that point.

And, don't get me wrong, I love the chit-chat too!
