So the Brits don't like Simon Cowell (I can't imagine why?) and Cat Deely? I do like Cat, she seems nice, what do I know? Dancing with the Stars has turned into really good TV, the dancing is amazing! I really like "So You Think You Can Dance?" also. It just started over here.

I had to do ketchup in three parts and give up on ketchup on the repo for 2008.

Hi Laura! We fly from Barcelona to Paris about 1 PM on the 8th . . . we will stay at the Hotel la Bourdonnais and then move on the 13th to the Disneyland Hotel at DLP.

I think Elizabeth got what she wanted. She's really not difficult -- lets you know exactly what she wants and picks out what is really important (I took her to an art store last weekend for her to pick out supplies to take to Spain when she leaves for her foreign exchange this coming Saturday. She's quite a good artist and wants to paint/sketch while there.)

OMG Julie - this it too funny! We leave Hotel Residence des Arts on Sunday the 12th and move to the Sequoia Lodge on that day and check out on the 15th. Whereas the rest of the family is leaving for the States - I have to get myself back to Barcelona and am trying to narrow down where I want to stay. I saw this beautiful hotel that is a converted Palace and I for one the look of the lobby staircase. I can SOOOO see myself doing a Sunset Blvd, Norma Desmond line...... "All Right Mr. DeMille - "I'm ready for my close-up!" ( I just hope I don't look like this: )

And Laura, i forgot you asked about returning -- we will get back to Barcelona about 2 PM on Aug 18 -- given the ship doesn't leave until late on the 19th I wasn't in such a hurry to get back.

Do you know where your staying then?

Isn't this place so nice...I just love talking about stuff going on in my life and not be judged....just have acceptance. That is just so cool!!

I have become very found of everyone, especially you Laura....good thing as we will be on so many more cruises together!! (You sould stop by the WB Pamana Thread.....very different there or EB Panama.....slower moving and very very thoughtful. You would fit right in!!)

Annie DD13 was confirmed yesterday at church and she had to stand up in front of 500 people and give her statement of faith. I was so proud of her!

CONGRATS! Lisa and Annie - April has to go through a 2 yr program and while I'm ok with that, I'm not ok with the way the program director treated the adults signing up. I hate to criticize the people working especially since they're volunteers, but you cannot talk down and degrade people when your in a position such has hers. She had absolutely no people skills and what should have been a simple 2 hr thing turned into a 4 hr ordeal! Ouch!

Julie - forgot to mention that April is also an artist. She's been drawing since she was 2 and for not having had any formal lessions - she's really very good. I just love artistic people! My younger sister and an aunt are really good artists and I have a cousin who is a small time broadway actress and sometimes TV actor and I have an aunt who is a singer on the Spanish genre and my sister and brothers all do arts and crafts as a sidebusiness.

I sometimes wonder what happened to me. I am neither an artist -cannot draw worth a bean, a singer - I sound like a troll - or a skilled crafts maker - I work really well witha paint by number set. Now what's up with that GOD? My claim to fame up to this point had been my children but according to a letter I received from my son - I didn't do too hot with that. Oh well, I guess that's why I have 3 - maybe the last one will have a shot huh?

WAIT - I have one thing going for me? My sharp witticisim!

(But only my DIS friends get that!)

OK - I'm off on a search to find what I'm good at cauze Lord knows - I'm definately not good at -

I personally dont like Simon, he is so rude, and I know its done more for the telly but I switch him off, how can he be worth so much, Cat is better, i was joking a bit with her, nice lady, did fame academy here, but an 'average' presenter, not sure why she has taken off so much over there.

Ant and Dec I hear are making a pilot now for Americian TV, they were ok on kids TV here but should have stayed there.

I have seen clips of your Dancing with stars, its based on our Strictly come dancing, same set, same title music and music Sting. I would like to see your one here, the full series.

We have so many good entertainers its strange how some have not made it when they should have and some have when they shouldnt have.

I was pleased Anne Robinson did well on the Weakest link for a time, with you.

When we get back to Barca on Aug. 18 we will be staying on the Disney magic!

Is the hotel you were looking at when you go back to Barcelona the Hotel Continental palacete? It is a converted palace and it's where we are staying July 27-28.

So for us it's Palacete, Magic, Bourdonnais, Disneyland Hotel, and back to Magic . . .

The way I did it, was to highlight it, (right click >save picture as) saving into your pictures, I uploaded it into Photobucket, and copied the IMG into my signature.
