Hello everyone. Sorry for being so late. Glad I just make the FE deadline. I am BigEskimoDog (Chun), DW Felicia, and DS Nathan 11. We are Disneyland resident (live in So Cal) and had cruised with Disney a few times. I started a new job recently and finally have time to check in to DisBoards. Seeing today is deadline for FE I took the plunge without consulting DW. So if you see a middle aged Asian guy with Black Eyes delivering FE gifts that's probably me.

Q: I signed up at the bottom of the spreadsheet but noticed all the FE participants are at the top and with color entries. Should I move my entry up? If anyone know pls advice. Thx.

I am so sorry to have to say that we have had to cancel our booking on this cruise. We have had a situation occur that has caused us to have to cancel the trip, so we will therefore not be able to participate in the fish extender. We are sad not to be goingand wish all of you a wonderful and special cruise!

Ok, I need some clarification about the FE. We are newbies. Do we give items to each person every night? Do we do it randomly? And what do we spend on gifts?

No.
If you want.
And, there is no set amount.


What many people do...pick a day (anytime of day) that you would like to deliver the fish extender gifts. You may choose to give one gift to 'the whole family,' in each stateroom. Or, you may give to everyone in the room. Or, (and I think this is what most people do) give to the children only. There are really no 'set' rules.

It can be a little overwhelming when you first read and learn about fish extenders, however, it's really meant to be just fun. For example we've received gifts in which we received a 'clothes-pin' (great for keeping the curtains shut) emery boards, fun-size candy bars...to name a few. Last year, someone in our group was from the U.K., and she gave a pair of Union Jack 'footies socks' which I still wear. Someone else gave a "Winnie the Pooh"' oven mitt. My daughter and her BFF loved the fun-size Nestle crunch bars.

Hope that helps.

Edited to add: Most people give their gifts in a single day. You don't have to drop a fortune and buy gifts for every one every night. The gifts my family and I are giving, we'll deliver on one of the sea days.
