Good morning everyone! Did you know that the 10th anniversary of the Magic's maiden voyage is July 30, 2008. That make this cruise the 10th anniversary cruise! Do you think we should put something in our thread title about this?

Ken...I say yes...that makes our cruise just a little more special! I hope on that day they will do something a little more special than the other cruises...after all it is 10 years!

So where is everyone from...SanDiego here...

cant remember if I mentioned that. Are any of you in the freezing cold and snow?
I hate the cold, love the warm!

It was 85 Sunday and 75 yesterday and about 70 today....we did have a cold front for about 2 or more weeks and it was 45 degrees in the morning and for us it was COLD!!!!
Yes...we are spoiled

That's cool how its the 10th anniversary. Would be neat if Disney did something special for that cruise...limited pins, special shows, etc.

I see that you are from Hawaii...I keep trying to get there but DCL keeps pulling me back in..lol...how do you like it there..ae you from there originaly?

Yes....both Dh & I are born & raised on Oahu. Its beautiful here...great for families and raising kids. But to get our Disney fix we are willing to travel!

We are DVC members and get out to Florida at least once a year. Will be so nice to only have to fly to California for this cruise. A 5 hour plane ride compared to the 10 hours to Orlando will be easy

Yes....both Dh & I are born & raised on Oahu. Its beautiful here...great for families and raising kids. But to get our Disney fix we are willing to travel!

We are DVC members and get out to Florida at least once a year. Will be so nice to only have to fly to California for this cruise. A 5 hour plane ride compared to the 10 hours to Orlando will be easy

I agree that 10 hr stuff can be hard....that is why we did not want to do the Med cruise...to many hrs flying.

What Island would you say is the best one or ones to visit? you will becomee a big assest to us over the next year and a half...lol...always great to chatt with people who live where you want to go!

It appears that DCL doesn't have any plans for anything special at this point. But the cruise is still a long way off. We can keep the talk going about the anniversary and have our own party if DCL doesn't.

I like the idea of having our own party if Disney doesn't to celebrate the 10th anniversary. It is a long way out yet so maybe Disney will still have something.

I've noticed that our cabin categories have already gone up in price especially the cat. 11. That went up about $700 already! Good thing we booked the first day.

Great idea!

I'll try to keep up with this thread. I've just got some other cruises planned between now and then. (like my upcoming one with kpros and spros to reposition the Magic to the MED!)

that is the age at time of cruise...

That is if you want. Some may not want to add info or have cabin# yet...but you are welcome to put mine..

O my God!!! Disney is building a new ship? Alaska in 2010? DH will be happy since he's been wanting to take an Alaskan cruise and we're hoping that disney would do one .
We also did the West coast cruise last June '05 and its great not to worry abt flying somewhere to cruise. But we're gonna pass on the one for '08 we might do
E/W Carribean cruise but now that you mention abt Alaska........... .
