July 22-26, 2007 (7/22-26/07) Wonder

Hey Cam, Sounds like a great trip you have planned!! We are actually just flying out the day of cruise this time. We are going to wdw the first of July with all the boys. I used Shirley this past March and was happy. We might just have alot of people who dont use these boards on our cruise. I cant imagine it not being to full capacity. Either way , we will have a great time. We are cat. 9 deck 2 . What about you?? Paige

We are also deck 2, but cat. 10. I like the lower decks for not getting as seasick, but we plan to only sleep in our cabin so we didn't mind going with inside cabin for this cruise.

Bumping this up in the hopes of finding other DISers who are cruising with us.

I am heading to Orlando on Friday morning for a race. Paige, I hope you'll keep bumping this up and maybe by the time I get back on-line Tuesday, we'll have found some fellow sail-ers! :thumbsup2

Cam, Have a great time in Orlando. I hope we do get some others on here. We really arent that far away. Paige:cool1:

Hi All,
I just found this thread, so I thought I'd say Hello!!
We too are heading to the Bahamas with you. Me, DH, DS (3), my Dad, Stepmom, Grandmom and Sis. It's been 5 years since my last cruise, so I cannot wait!!!! This is a first Disney cruise for all but me and DH and our first time on the Wonder!!! Look forward to chatting with you all.

Hey all! I haven't been able to read/post for a while. My youngest is having some health issues and I've been pretty stressed about it. We considered cancelling our trip but so far the doctor says we can go. But I've been having trouble getting excited.

2:00 this morning was our time to finally make palo reservations. I would have completely forgotten if I had not set an alarm on my phone. Last night, I wasn't even going to bother. I was exhausted and depressed and figured we wouldn't be able to get a brunch time. I decided we would just try once we boarded.

Well, my DH got up without me knowing and made the reservations! He said it looked like all the times were open- which really surprises me and he made us 11:00 reservations. And I didn't even realize that our sea day was my
41st birthday ( I knew my birthday was on the cruise, but for some reason I thought it was the Nassau day).!

I am getting a bit more excited and I am hoping as time goes on I'll start to get excited again about the trip I've been planning for years!!!

Oklamomof4boys....I am happy your will get a nice brunch on your 41st! We will be celebrating my 40th on this cruise. We are doing the brunch at noon on the sea day so we will probaly see you there. Not that we will know each other:rotfl: .I hope all gets better with your son and you are able to look foward to your cruise.:)

Hi, everyone! I thought maybe I'd post a DISers list in the first post of everyone who has posted here and the ages of children so that people can try to PM ahead of time. When our kids were younger, they LOVED emailing other DIS cruisers ahead of time and arranged to meet up at the port or the sailaway party.

What do you guys think?
If you are interested, post your names & kids' gender & ages here and I will be glad to start the list in the first post. I know some people are reluctant to post kids' names, so it might be preferable to you to exchange that information in PM's.

I'll go post ours now. Hopefully, others will chime in and we'll even get more people signing in. :goodvibes

My friends who are going with us decided just yesterday that maybe they wanted to go to Palo's for brunch ( they are not planners at all- I have made all their reservations). I was very doubtful that any would be left, but told her she could try once they boarded. Well, I checked yesterday and almost all the brunch times were still available! That shocked me! Maybe the cruise won't be too crowded!

Anyway, on the cruise will be me ( Carol), husband David and 4 boys- ages 15, 12, 10 ( almost 11) and 8

Also our friends Jennifer and Scott and their DD ( 17years old) and DS ( 12 years old).

Hi, everyone! Sorry I've been MIA! Really looking forward to this trip, but so much to get through in the interim. I am really hoping that as the trip gets closer, we will see more DISers joining our thread.

I am off to update the DIS list in the first post! :goodvibes

Bumping again in the hopes of finding other DISers! Yes, I'm an eternal optimist! ;) :goodvibes

Hey Cam, I know for a fact we have a full ship. I guess it might be alot of people who dont use the disboards. :confused3 I cant wait. You and I will have to meet somewhere. :)

Really? I actually went on the website to see if there were cabins available and almost every category was available. I wonder why that is? :confused3 Oh, well, maybe it will be a ship full of non-DISers and we'll know all the inside information! :rotfl2:

I think we should meet for a sailaway drink! God knows, with such a short cruise, if we don't see each other at the beginning, we may never have a free minute to meet up. :wizard:

Hi there!
I just found out about the DIS boards! My DH, DS (almost 2) and some other family will be on this cruise. I've cruised before, but this is my first Disney one and I'm excited! :cheer2: I wish my son was able to go into the pools but I'm sure there will be plenty of other things to do. Glad to have found this community!

It looks like there will be a very small DIS contingent on this sailing. Not much lime green to look for.
The only good thing about that is that all of the little secret hints and information that gets shared on this board will not be widespread knowledge! :rotfl:

Hey Cam, I cant wait till our cruise. We will have to meet. Paige

Hi everyone,

I have been looking for a cruise thread for a few months now, guess I just always missed this. Our cast includes myself (45), dh (43), ds (9). This will be our 4th cruise with DCL, the 3rd on the Wonder. Last summer we did a 7 night Western. We had a great time but we prefer the Wonder over the Magic. I have been surprised by the lack of activity on the boards for this cruise. Actually I forgot about making Palo reservations until about 5 pm the day after ressies could be made. To my pleasant surprise I had no problem getting what we wanted. Dh and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary on the 25th so I booked both brunch and dinner - we should be good and full by the end of the day!

What are you all planning for Nassau?
