We are a family of five,DH, DW, DD age 7,DS age 4, DD age 10 mos. looking to meet others. This is our first Disney cruise and are travelling with in laws (wife's family). Are doing Land and Sea and by the time of the cruise we will be looking for someone to "rescue" us if the need for distance arises on board. When this happens The kids are on their own and so, could maybe find some playmates . We adults will be at the bar having lime with whatever and good luck kids!! Seriously they are good kids and we will probably collect them at disembark time.

We'll be on that cruise and it will be our first cruise as well. We took DH's parents to WDW last year and are leaving the at home this go around! (They're nice people though) We have 2 DD's who are coming with us (ages 9 and 2). The older one may go in the club for 1 or 2 things, but although we registered the 2 yo DD for Flounders, I highly doubt she'll stay there. (I'm a SAHM so she'll only go to a few peopleand that's AFTER she's been around them for 30 mins.)So we'll have kids in tow most of the cruise. But maybe we will see you out and about! What resort are you staying at? We're at SSR. Have fun on the cruise!

I am a sahm also! Our 10 mo doesn't like to go to anyone else either. I'm hoping to leave her for awhile w/ grandparents. But will have kids in tow also. We are taking the auto train from Lorton, VA instead of flying, kids love it. we start at *** for a few days, then off to Cocoa Beach to enjoy some real waves. Then back to AKL to meet up with parents, brother, niece and nephew. The kids are set to go on the Pirate Cruise and Princess Party at GF, as well as Fantasmic and Hoop De Doo for everyone. We are swimming w/ dolphins, snorkeling and parasailing. This will be our 4th time at Disney w/ kids, first Disney Cruise. We did Windjammer cruise before kids. Looking forward to this one. My parents and brother haven't been to DW since '76, so will be lots of fun for them watching the kids run around. Mom , who is the host for most of this trip has been planning this for close to two years is looking toward that chance to see the kids enjoy Magic as only Disney can deliver. At first we almost backed out of going when first became pregnant with Klara, or at the least didn't get to excited until a safe bitthday last summer for her. Now still a little apprehensive about the heat at this time of year there. On our second to last trip to WDW the 2 kids at that time both had ear infections that we were not aware of till there already- ended up in er. Doctors stated that he should have been crying but WDW brings out only smiles, he was not even tugging or rubbing his ear. Our son after flying down, scared both of us when he started convulsing at nite from febral "cooldown" brought on by his ear inf. Disney was wonderful about first aid , gifts for him , transport to hospital even gifts for his sister so she wouldn't be afraid at all the commotion etc. We felt like the CMs involved in our "ears" ha ha tragedy, went over and above! So back to the point : we hope to be careful about overdoing it as far as how much to do. We have usually gone to Florida during our WINTERS but since both my parents are retired teachers and are paying for most of the trip for all the family my mom had to pick a time of the year when the kids are out of school, whereas we don't mind them missing some school thinking that they will learn real world info that is based on site experience. This is also why we like the train. wow this is getting long.
We have had our share of adventures at WDW, how about your selves? We'll have to look for you when we get there. Less than 2 months till trip! And thanx for responding . the ship we believe is sold out yet we had not heard from anyone till you. :cheer2: :hourglass :earsboy:
