This is amazingly helpful info, thanks so much! We were thinking about a dinner package so that’s good to know. Dining in general is the part I’m struggling with the most. We are considering a character breakfast one day too!

I love Goofys Kitchen. It's at DL hotel. A good option for arrival or departure day. They do breakfast and dinner. Storytellers Cafe does breakfast, brunch, and is newly adding a character dinner. Plaza Inn in DL is kind of like Crystal Palace at MK but not all Pooh characters (some). Plaza Inn only does breakfast. If you do it, I recommend the latest time which is 10:40. This makes it so you don't waste precious morning park touring time eating.

Biggest DL advice - arrive before rope drop (in parks by 7:30) and be ready to be on the go until 10:30 to 11. Wait times are super low early on. Book LL as soon as you enter park and every 2 hours all day. Keep modifying times to later in the day and stack for lots of afternoon/evening rides. LL really isn't necessary before 10 or 11.

I got some good experience stacking LLs at WDW before the change to pre-booking so I will be all over that

Modifying your lighting lanes will be the best thing you can do

Did you get your Trader Sam’s ressie? Our window just opened this morning and I got ours! Feeling so lucky because they run out within minutes. I read people were getting them early, but there were none until 6am on the dot.

Yes! I got my desired 6pm dinner a lot for our arrival day!!!

I logged in to the Disneyland app at 5:55am and went to the Trader Sam’s reservation page, then kept checking availability starting at 5:59am. Right at 6am the calendar opened up and I chose my time. Took about 45 seconds to secure the reservation, and I went right back in to check again and all of the times were gone. It happens so quickly!
