**July 2020**

We were thinking about doing a resort only in July too. The pools would definitely be a deal breaker for us too.
We pulled the plug on our July trip and decided on May of 2021, it was just too much to wake up every morning thinking/worrying about it. I know first world pain and all but we feel much better about it all now. I hope everyone gets their trips in July!

So am I the only one annoyed that we still have our 30 day cancellation window apply to July packages? I have a screen shot of their page saying any reservation had until June 30th. Now it says reservations booked through June 30th has until the 30th to cancel. So I have to decide by the 1st wk of June when someone coming shortly before me can wait until the last minute to decided. I really don’t know why this annoys me so much. Other than I’m holding out hope we’ll feel comfortable going. I don’t think we will but we definitely won’t w/ out seeing a plan in action of how it will work. This is all a big if, if they open in June. I guess I’m so annoyed that I have to give up on our big anniversary trip the beginning of June. 1st world problems I know. But it makes me sad. If we reschedule we won’t get the same deal and as of now it’s more expensive Then if golf happens for my son we could only move it by a week or so. So we’re on to next summer. Just a vent I guess. Thanks for listening.

I think it's very likely if they still aren't open (or have announced plans to open) by June 1, that date will be pushed out.

I feel your pain 😢. It's so hard making decisions right now when we have no idea what things are going to look like in just two short months. We don't get to Disney often, so I really don't want to come with a reduced experience. We have our week at Disney booked followed by a week long condo rental at the beach. We have to pay our condo in full 60 days prior and that date is slowly creeping up in just two weeks time. I honestly thought maybe the condo cancellation policy had changed in light of everything going on but upon contacting them, they advised that payment in full or cancellation is still expected at that 60 day mark and once we pay, we are out the full amount. Gonna have to make a decision one way or another and fast. We actually booked a back up Disney week this morning for November as a room finally opened up at Port Orleans when I checked today for our preferred dates.

Couldn't agree more. We moved our big family trip to next year too

So decided to move our July 2020 trip to July 2021 now. I can't see the park experiences being anywhere near back to normal, even if they are open, and as this is likely to be the last family trip we ever make to WDW we want it to be as good as possible.

Hope all of your trips still go ahead, and the experience is still ok.

So ducking out of this thread now.
I totally get that since it will be a last family trip.

Just made our FPs for June 29-July 5th. I'm surprised with all the talk of canceling vacations, that the availability was very limited.
We made ours Monday for the same dates. I'm sorry you had a hard time but we got literally everything and all before 1 PM, every day. Granted we didn't an FOP fastpass because we don't ride it, nor did we do 7DMT, but I have SDD, MMRR, BTMRR, Splash (twice!), FEA, and Peter Pan. All before 1 PM

Just booked for July 27-August 2 at Beach Club! Had several trips (not Disney) earlier this year that had to be canceled so really hoping this one will work out 🤞. If not we’ll postpone until Thanksgiving week. But really hoping for July, we need a vacation!

Taking my grown kids (20 and 22) for their college graduation celebrations from July 11-18 at All Star Movies! So excited!

Switched the resort to Art of Animation for our July 11-18 trip! Could we please be added to the roll call?

MK FPs weren't bad at all except for Peter. We got FOP but at 8pm. HS there was no Slinky dog, or Mickey and Minnie's ride.
