Question of the day....

If you were in Disney right now, what would you be doing?

We'd be in MK probably riding Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, or Pirates...those are always our morning to do's.

We leave on Sunday!!! This was a very last minute trip!!! July 1-9 at BCV!!! Very excited!! Never stayed there before--always stayed at All Stars or Pop Century. Any advice or ideas for us? We have a 3 year old and a 12 year old...

Hmmm....I'm really hungry right now, so probably snacking on something wonderful. Depending on which park I was at, either a cream cheese pretzel, jalapeno pretzel, or cupcake

I just found this thread and I love it! We are doing a relatively last-minute split stay: BLT July 12 - 14 and BCV July 14 - 17. Just under two weeks and we can't wait!

I checked through the ADR list and it looks like no one will be at the same restaurants at the same time we will. Our ADRs are:

July 12: Whispering Canyon Cafe 5:00PM
July 13: Citricos 7:45PM
July 14: Kona Cafe 7:30AM
July 15: Brown Derby (F! Pkg) 1:25PM
July 16: Captain's Grille 7:30AM
Biergarten 6:10PM

We aren't leaving until the evening on the 17th, but I wanted to keep the day fluid and not make any ADRs anywhere.

I hope we all have wonderful vacations!

Not really unique but we are staying outside the MK area for the first time as adults.

Since its Friday, we would be at MK. DD2 and I would be at BBB right now. Not sure what DH and DD1 would be doing since they are planning to do their own thing until we are done at BBB.

Probably doing the EMH at Epcot as well. I was so looking forward to introducing my DD to Test Track since we weren't able to ride it the last time we were there in 2008.

She did get to ride Radiator Racers at Carsland three times and the ride was almost similar, so I don't think she will be too disappointed when we are at DW in less than 3 weeks.

I would be cleaning up from an afternoon at the Poly pool and getting ready for a dinner reservation at Via Napoli. ​

Be careful and enjoy Earl of Sandwich, we'll be there on July 14th evening.

If you were in Disney right now, what would you be doing?

Would have already found a great place to watch Illusions at Epcot and waiting for it to begin. This year I would love to watch them from Royal Crown and Pub. However I know one would need ressies for dinner for this so I doubt there are any left at this short date.. I might go in and check just for giggles Just checked and could get a 7:15pm ressie for the 30th of July however probably would get kicked out prior to fireworks... anyone think this would be a possibility?

Why did you pick the resort you are staying at this year?

We picked AKL because we love the atmosphere. It makes us feel like we are at Disney, but at another far away place at the same time. The kids love the bunk beds. It works out perfectly for us so the kids don't have to share a bed. We love the AKL pool and the Kidani pool. We love the animal viewing areas. We also really enjoy Boma and love the Mara for QS also. I am getting so excited for Disney just thinking about all of this!

Why did you pick the resort you are staying at this year?

I knew I wanted a value resort, and we've stayed at Movies twice already. Sports and Music didn't really appeal to me so POP it was. I'm really excited to stay there though!
