hi

its ages since i have been on here. we went to wdw for 3 weeks in november 2008 knowing we wouldnt be able to go back for a while due to our oldest daughters study commitments.

we are planning on going in early july 2011 (round about the 7th) and wondered what the crowds and temperature was like at this time

in previous years we have been in september, october and november but we found november busy to what we had been used to.

thanks in advance

LL

We have just returned, went on the 8-29. There were a lot of tour groups around and at the moment they are having record temperatures, only had 1 real florida downpour and a couple of lots of rain. It always seems to rain when we get to England in Epcot.:lmao:

The crowds didn't seem too bad to us but we tend to go at this time of year anyway. We are not coaster fans and the longest we waited in line was 55 mins for WWOHP. A lot of the big rides had upto 120 mins wait at times but maybe with a fastpass this could be cut quite a bit.

After going for several years we just took it easy but managed to do the things we wanted to, would go out in the afternoon and go back in later.

thanks tashasmum

i think we might have to give this time of year a miss then as were a big ride fans and moon worshipers to boot

oh dear. back to the drawing board

I don't think many have replied as it is not a popular time to go due to extreme heat, extreme crowds and lack of offers eg no free DDP.

I've been most other months to Florida if that tells you anything.

There was a poll a couple of weeks ago best month to go and September or October were coming out best.

If you are tied to school holidays late August is popular hence the board is like a ghost town at the moment - US schools starting to go back, offers like free dining.

We're going october half term as DD gets 2 weeks off school then.

Just a thought - November is usually quiet.

First week is jersey week so busier - schools in new jersey have a holiday so lots of parents take advantage to go to WDW off season.

Third week is Thanksgiving and crowds and very high like easter or xmas.

If your November trip overlapped with either of these then that would explain the crowds.

We've been twice just after thanksgiving and it was very quiet.
