July 2011 code watch?

I got that email, too! When I initially saw it in my inbox I got all excited and then when I opened it was disappointed.

Me too! My DH said I got something from Disney and I literally JUMPED off the couch and ran to the computer.............same PIN I have had with dates I can't use.........still hoping for something I can use on Tuesday.

I was one of the many disgruntled until this morning. I have been calling every other day and asking to see if there were any promos attached to my name. All the CM's have been polite although some have tried harder than others.

Today the CM told me that I had a 30% off room only. I was already booked at the Contemporary for 5 nights with PH and QS Dining. I had not received any e-mails or mailings and did not know about the code.

I did get my reservation confirmation back via email. Saved $540.

Just thought I'd share and encourage everyone to keep checking. I'm still hoping for something better but thankful for what I have.

I got the same thing for the end of June at the GF (30% off room) when I booked back in October. The Cast member could not tell me if it was a code or not!!!

I asked and she said mine was a code. She gave me the code (letter-letter-number) but I don't want to post it and break the rules. It matches the one on my new reservation confirmation.

I got the same pin that doesn't apply to summer AGAIN! ARRRGGGG!! I am hoping for those discounts next week.

I just spoke with guest services and there is a pin attached to dh's name for free dining with travel dates July 1 thru Aug 13. Must be booked by April 30. Just thought someone may want to know what this new mysterious pin is. Good luck to those who are traveling during that time and need one!

Did you contact the reservation phone number to inquire about the PIN, I spoke with a CSR in reservations, she said I did not have a PIN, but I want to be sure I am calling the correct number. I know info varies depending on the number and the quality of the CSR

Thought I would join the July watchers. Am planning on going about 7/25-7/31. I have not even attempted to call, but in the past have received 40% off pin codes that I assumed were attached to my Disney Visa.

Yes, I called the reservation booking number to inquire.

Oh I really really hope this goes public. I will switch our trip from Sept. to this so the kids don't have to miss school. I am trying to do the right thing here - but the only way we can afford to go is with a discount!

Did you already have a PIN code in your name or were you offered this randomly?
