July 2011 code watch?

That is really not good news for me. We're planning on visiting mid July, 3 kids and a 4 month old. I really hope it doesn't washout our trip. Couple of hours of rain middle of the day might be fine but if its going to go on for the entire day its not going to be worth it. We have family visiting us from another country as well.

It definitely won't wash out your trip. The summer rains in Florida are spectacular (heavy, intense rains, frequently with lots of lightning and thunder), but they are generally short-lived. As a PP mentioned, bring ponchos and a smile and you'll be fine. The summer rains are much better, in my opinion, than the cold, drizzly rain that can go on for hours, without amounting to much, during the winter months. Lastly, since most of the storms hit in the late afternoon, if your children are nappers, you may get lucky and have the rains coincide with their naps.

We always go in July and it will rain alittle bit each day, but never too bad and we have been the past 3 years and been able to do everything we wanted and weren't bothered by the rain. Be prepared, but by no means will it ruin your trip.

What I'd really love is what they offered 2 years ago and the year before that. The stay ___days, get ____ free offers!! There were no restrictions and we stayed in some great CL rooms for a great price!!

HMMM!!!!!??? Interesting!!! The GF would be great for me, but I can't get it to take off the discount. Still playing around with it. Wonder if this is a sign that Disney is going to offer something similar?? (we need a 'fingers crossed' smiley!)

From what I remember of last year, Free Dining and the room discount came out at ABOUT the same time. I remember this b/c my travel agent said that the room discount was definitely a better deal for us. I'm assuming if we've only heard of one discount (FD) then we won't be hearing about the room discount. Too bad.

OMG OMG!!! I got it!!! I just got off the phone with the very wonderful Natasha...she put all the codes in only one worked...she said I am going to try and put a reservation thru so we did and it worked got my confirmation and put my deposit!!

Linda T we will be there as well celebrating HS Grad. I spoke with my TA and the codes listed earlier are pins so I am unabel to get free dining as of today. Unofficially my TA was told to watch for another set of pins on March 1. Fingers crossed.

I haven't tried to call about the free dining yet. Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong - but, I have a reservation with a AAA discount, which I had to do "room only" to get the 20% off at the cabins. I don't think I can do a package and therefore, qualify for the free dining. Also, I don't think I could do the AAA and ALSO free dining - correct?

I think I'll just hang in there and hope for a room discount...

Well I got the July regular free dining pin code so we are going to Disney!!! We are going July 14th thru July 21st and we are staying at CBR (which is our favorite resort). We will be celebrating two college graduations, a one year anniversary, and a 79th birthday. We are all very excited and can't wait to be in Disney. I hope everyone gets a pin code or the offer a public soon so they can make their summer plans also.

Hopefully this isn't too forward, but would you be willing to share approximately what your total ended up being? We normally travel that week in July for our anniversary, and were thinking about CBR too. It would just be two adults in our group, though. Thanks if you're willing to share

Everyone that is waiting for a code, do you already have your reservations and will just apply a code if/when it comes out or are you waiting for the code before booking? Thanks.

We already booked but if a code comes out they can rebook and apply if there is availability.
