July 2011 code watch?

I'm hoping something will be released soon. :cool1:

Last year the discounts for summer were released around Feb 10, so we're in that same week or so.

Plus, for the past couple days, Mousesavers has had a link on the front of their website to 'be sure to sign up for the newsletter that's released on the 15th of every month.' That's not normally something that's right on the main announcement page, which also makes me think the newsletter might have something interesting in it today :confused3 or maybe I'm just grasping at straws here :rotfl: I want a discount!!

What I'd really love is what they offered 2 years ago and the year before that. The stay ___days, get ____ free offers!! There were no restrictions and we stayed in some great CL rooms for a great price!!

Just received the newsletter and there was nothing in it :(. I too would like the extra days offer or a good discount, not a lover of the DDP but hey if that's going for free I'd have that too

Hey SRUAlum!!! I think we met on the July thread last summer!

We are heading back again this July. I would LOVE to get a discount code - but free dining is better than nothing - everyone cross your fingers that we get some pixie dust here!! :wizard:

We also went last July, and the discount came out in February. Hope it happens this year too!!

I know :( I just came back on here to post that. The website hasn't been updated today either.....

Yes!! Hi again  Fingers crossed!!

We actually got a PIN for multiple 2011 dates, but the summer wasn't included, of course. The only dates that were available that we could use was the week before Christmas, so we're booked in December, but if a great summer code comes out we might switch or....do both ;) Free dining really doesn't appeal to us. It's not really a good value because we've tracked what we spent on food the past 3 trips and it's not even close to what the dining plan costs. I'd much rather have a room discount!!

I didn't get one so this is just info from another board I belong to. The dates are July 1- August 14. I don't know any of the other details. I'm just really surprised that the 4th is included in free dining.

Oh my! There goes July as a travel option for me :( Heavy rain, HEAT, tour groups, and crowds were enough, but now free dining too!?!? It's going to be a madhouse! :scared1:

Yikes. I'm hoping August will be d. r. y.

I've never gone in August, but I live in SC and I can say that, in the south in general, the summer months are very rainy, August included. Not trying to worry you, but just be prepared. Some years are better. Our trips in 2008 and 2010 were VERY rainy, 2009 wasn't as bad.

You are correct. Historically the three rainiest months in the Orlando area are June, July & August (in that order). August gets nearly triple the rain (6.25 inches), on average, as the months of November, December, January & February (each gets about 2.35 inches). The afternoon monsoons are a sight to behold and they, combined with the August average high temperature of 92 degrees, sure make things steamy!

That is really not good news for me. We're planning on visiting mid July, 3 kids and a 4 month old. I really hope it doesn't washout our trip. Couple of hours of rain middle of the day might be fine but if its going to go on for the entire day its not going to be worth it. We have family visiting us from another country as well.

Honestly its not that bad, I've had mine when they were toddlers in their strollers with Mickey ponchos draped over them and the stroller to stop them getting wet, plus you'll dry out really quickly with the heat.

I too am hoping for some sort of July Promo. I'll take a discount off of the rack room rate, I'll take free dining, I'll take a gift card (but I would prefer the other two), I'll take anything!
