Today I can finally do all those last minute things and get ready to head out in the morning. Trying on line check in this morning if I can remember my Disney password. I get most my info off of the Dis and seldom go to the Disney website. It is so hot here, hope I can get my car cleaned out and yard mowed before it gets to bad. 18 straight days of 3 digit temps.

Made a fair dent in the packing this weekend. Mowed the lawn last night. We're on track for an evening departure, Thursday evening. Safe travels to everyone!

We are just about done. DD and I are going for pedicures today and DH is going to clean out the car this afternoon and take DS food shopping so he, his gf and the dog and cat can eat while we are gone. All packed.

Just about ready. I keep thinking of a thousand things I have to do every time I sit down LOL

Don't have a lime green mickey yet either!! I have the one someone made me on here... but haven't figured out a good place to put/wear that...or the little paint samples.... Sigh.

Carrie - Have a great vacation. Now that DD and I are at home, it our time to support and help keep the excitement going for the other Disney maniacs.

Don't have a lime green mickey yet either!! I have the one someone made me on here... but haven't figured out a good place to put/wear that...or the little paint samples.... Sigh.

Punch a hole, "laminate" with packing tape and hang them on whatever bag you have, or from your belt loop or make a necklace...whatever LOL

Thanks Bob! I can't wait to get there already!! It's supposed to be hot, hot, hot at home this week, so I can't say I'm going to miss anything here, that's for sure! Well, except maybe my dog, Alaska. When she isn't a pest, she's a nice doggie LOL

I think one of June travelers had done it before, but you're given a list of semi-broad subjects and everyone goes out to find them and then posts their favorite picture on each of those topics. So our topics were:
1. A hidden Mickey.
2. Food--anything!
3. Wildlife, whether it be animals you find throughout WDW, Tigger at CP, or your hubby at the pool (his words not mine).
4. Planes, Trains and Automobiles. If you can ride in it, snap a picture of it!
5. Fireworks!
6. A picture that represents the Magic Kingdom but not of Cinderella's Castle.
7. A picture that represents Epcot but not of Spaceship Earth.
8. A picture that represents DHS but not of the Sorcerer's Hat.
9. A picture that represents AK but not of the Tree of Life.
10. The picture of the moment that made it all worthwhile.

The one that I probably wouldn't have necessarily taken a picture of otherwise was fireworks. They don't always come out for me since I'm just using a point and shoot.

So much for dd's manicure. The girl apparently forgot the top coat and I didn't notice. After her bath tonight, I was doing her hair and noticed her polish was all chipped. The girl who did her nails didn't put a topcoat on. I was able to 'fix' (smudge some color) some of it with the topcoat that I had, but I don't have the purple color she got. If it looks horrible in the light of day I'm just going to take it off in the morning before we leave. I wish I had time to go back to the nail place in the morning, but I have too much to do

Thanks We've been to AK a few times, just not our favorite. We'd all rather spend an extra day at Epcot. We are definitely going to waterparks this trip, hopefully both, at the very least TL.
