I wish but umm...it IS Disney - as much as I love it, I'm under no illusion - they are in it for the profit. He did freak me out though when I called and he was babbling on prices raising and keeping it on a budget and he had me because I am paid in full and it's a contract so I had no idea what he was babbling on about. I had called him a 2nd time. So I was freaked out until he called back again. He had gotten out of a meeting and then called me back and then was telling me he had a room for $159/night and I'm thinking WHOA!! WAIT A MINUTE...we don't need rooms? What the world are you talking about? Turns out he had talked to someone else previously regarding rooms and they waited too long to book so the price changed. In my case, he just wanted to tell me he was going on vacation so someone else would be my contact person when I got to Disney.

To which my DD thought it was hysterical that he worked at Disney and was going "on vacation" - considering Disney is a vacation destination.


Now off to do 1 more load of dishes and put the kiddos to bed so I can go to bed to get up at an insane hour, pack the cooler and then take off!

WOW he couldn't have just left a message saying he was going on vacation in the first place Doesn't he realize us planners get really anxious when Disney calls.

Anyway safe travels and hopefully you will still be able to meet us on the 20th.

I have never figured out Twitter. I have no idea why because I'm usually good at that stuff. Anyway, I should be able to follow you on FB.

We didn't get many photopass pictures taken this time, so I doubt I'll get the CD. But, if there are one or two that are nice, I may order them. I haven't gotten to look at them yet. I have been sick since I came home. Gee, maybe I'm allergic to my house? I should live with Mickey!

If anyone is interested in seeing my pictures, I have them all on FB. Let me know, and I can friend you there.

I don't really know much about twitter either, but I will follow Carrie on FB too. And I would love to see you pics. Will send a friend request.

Edited July 16th – at the airport. We did get to Magic Kingdom after all around 7:00 PM. We stayed in Tomorrow land for a couple of hours and rode Space Mountain and a couple of other rides. Moved over to Frontier Land and rode Splash Mountain 2 times. Got a Turkey leg and shared it with Midori. We finished playing around 11:30 PM. We went back to CBR and Midori went to sleep. I finished packing and clean the room up. I do not like to leave it with trash and linens everywhere. I like nice neat piles. CBR driver picked us up at 2:00 AM and The Magical Express bus picked us up at 2:30 AM. Arrived at the airport at 3:00 AM and finally got our boarding pass at 4:15 AM. Now we are waiting at gate 56 to board our plane to Charlotte and then connect to DFW.

And as a side note we once had the ME bus pick us up that early and DH said never again. He will pay the extra money just not to take such an early flight.

Getting close to being ready, guess I'll do the online check in today. Not sure it saves much time at the desk after arriving. Hoping the room will be ready early so we can nap a little before heading to the park Thursday.

Glad to see everyone is having a good time. Sure hope the thunderstorms let up a bit, I know it rains almost everyday there in July but it looks like they are predicting storms not just rain.

That is one early flight! I have to say I've never taken one that early, we usually to the exact opposite and book flights at between 9 and 11 pm LOL We definitely wouldn't make a 2:30 am bus

I've never done online check in for the hotel. I'm suppose I'll try it one day, but like you I really don't think it saves much time.

The weather looks terrible for our trip. The first few days are the usual July scattered thunderstorms I was expecting. The last 4 days are solid gray rain days. But, rain's not so bad when it's a real feel temp of 104 I suppose (which was one of the forecasts LOL). I just hope it isn't as bad as the predictions. I find that they aren't very accurate until about a day or two before anyway.

Hope everyone had and great trip and the ones that are at WDW and the one's that are getting very close. Midori and I want to say - you have a great trip.

The reason I took the early flight was because I was able to land a 425.00 price for 2 round trip flights from DFW to Orlando. I just couldn't past it up.

As annoying as the rain is for us on vacation, they really need it in Florida. They were having fires throughout much of the state and, even after several days of some beneficial rains, not every fire was out or completely contained. It wasn't as bad as the year they had to cancel the second race at Daytona but they were having some fairly bad fires.

Glad you had a good trip home Can't blame you, that was a good price. We are flying on Tuesdays, because I got dd and dh each for $158/rt and I had a free r/t flight on airline miles.
Total price to fly for the three of us : $316

Since I'm a new DVC member and this is my first stay on points, I have a question! HELP!!

How do you guys bring all the shampoo, bodywash, soap, conditioner, (laundry soap), etc that you won't be receiving from the hotel and you don't have a car to get? How do you bring it all? It's making my suitcases heavy. No it's NOT the 5 pairs of flipflops I have and the 4 pairs dd has! It HAS to be the shampoo and stuff. Sheesh! Should I not pack the sunscreen? Ok, nevermind that silly question! ACk! I'm panicking a bit here.
