Reading posts on the Family Forum I came across the Fairy Godmailer and I thought this was a great concept.

Someone that is already on their Disney trip sends postcards from a specified character for someone else's up coming trip. Confuse anyone yet?

Well I posted on the board requesting for someone going on their trip either at the end of June or at the very beginning of July that would be able to send postcards to the 6 girls going on our trip.

So far I have not received a message back and we are getting close.

I am asking if anyone here would mind sending these postcards for me. I will PM you the information if you are willing.

Also, my dates are July 18th - 30th and would be more than happy to send out postcards for anyone going the end of July beginning of August!

Yes FGM is AWESOME! I signed up for it and a very nice woman sent postcards to both my kids, to me AND to my hubby if Afghanistan! He got his yesterday in fact and was SO surprised! It made him smile I am signed up to be FGM for two other families and am so excited!!!

I am going 5 July - 13 July and would be willing to send to you guys too I bought a sheet of postcard stamps so I have plenty to spare! Send me a PM!

I loved my old little Elph which required the special film that could take panoramic pictures.

And yes, I will definitely be at the meet up. One question: what is FOTLK? I don't know AK very well.

Festival of the Lion King ... it is a wonderful show! It is in Camp Minnie/Mickey And I will mark you in as a definite on the list for the meet!

I've been thinking I need to do a major update to our 2004 Trip Report. I've added minor updates from our Disney band trips with our kids, but I know things have changed quite a bit. We'll see what time offers though.

My son's 5th bday is July 20 -- we have Chef Mickeys for breakfast in the AM and Crystal Palace in the PM already reserved... so i'm not in panic mode...

but we'd REALLY like to alter our ADRs and reserve Chef Mickey's for July 20 in the evening ... if anyone BY CHANCE HAPPENS to cancel their July 20 dinner for Chef Mickey's.... will you let me know, please!!

We received our ME tags but not the packet with the vouchers and souvenir luggage tags. I thought it came before the ME tags. What order did you guys get yours in.

Still need to call to straighten out the ME return trip but have the grandkids everyday this week so will deal with it next week.

Since we are DVC we only get the ME packet.

I am going to do a trip report ... we will see about a separate dining report. Depends on how motivated I get to take photos at our meals! We have 11 ADRs planned!

I am going to contemplate doing a TR. I'm not sure yet. I'd like to at least do a food review because I love to read other people's. I started to read your PTR earlier today, gray.

Okay, another mad parent today. Come now... school ended LAST WEEK! haha. I actually don't normally get this many bad reactions (and this is only two!). So, it's been an unusual year. Be nice to the teacher.

THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU! Too everyone who provided amazing information on a replacement camera. I didn't want to miss anyone so I didn't "quote" everyone's posts!

Anyway, all the information was very helpful and I am pretty sure I am going to Best Buy this week to get the Cannon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS. I have read some really good reviews about this camera. One review on the Best Buy website was actually from someone who used the camera in Disney and shared some of their pics!!! They looked great so I am am syked!

And if you bring an ad with a cheaper price to Best Buy from a "major competitor in the area" (the quotes are what they told me), they price match/beat.

Well, I still haven't started the TR from my 12/2010 trip. I did have a PTR that I faithfully updated, even up until the day we arrived. And then I started tweeting/FB from the parks, including pictures, and never actually wrote the TR. I did start it. I even have the beginning saved in MS Word. I even took a poll on here earlier whether I should post it or if it was too late, but I never actually did post it.

Ok, I still didn't get mine and I we're all going at the same time. Actually grandmadebby you are going 2 days after us.

But we are heading to POR from July 24th-29th. It's been a crazy last minute trip that we are planning with some family friends. This will be our second trip do WDW and the first for our friends.

We're bringing a total of 4 kids with us... 1 seven year old, 2 ten year olds, and 1 38 year old (my DW). It should be a really magical time for the kids to spend together which makes it even better.

ADR's for the trip:
July 24th - 1900 Park Fare 6:05pm
July 25th - Boma 6:25pm
July 26th - Momma Melrose 1:45pm (Fantasmic Package)
July 27th - Biergarten 6:50pm
July28th - Crystal Palace 6:10pm

We're really excited. I just have a lot of planning to do between now and next month! WooHoo!!!

I'm thinking about the trip report! I did one for my 2009 trip with my DH. It's a LOT of work, though! However, it's going to be a different trip - my whole family, both my brother and I are married, and he has a baby. Like I said, I'm considering it!

I just saw a tip on the AllEars.net email about the battery operated tea lights as nightlights for the bathroom. I think that's the best idea I've ever heard in my entire life... so I ordered some from Amazon.com! (My husband ALWAYS leaves a light on, when we're in a hotel room, but it's noisy and often too bright. But, trust me, it's better that he has a light!) Of course, it's a pack of 12. Oh well. Maybe my family will want a couple?!

My mom and I hit up Bath and Body Works for their sale today and got loads of stuff for the trip! We got the 8 PocketBacs for 7 dollars, two hand cream/body lotions, one shower gel, and a scent egg for the room.

We also edited our trip plan a bit as well. We're considering changing an ADR or two. I'll definitely post them if we change them.

Oh, and I bought lime green nail polish today!

Awww. pooohh.. I don't think we'll be able to make the meet on the 6th after all, our ADR for Tusker is at 10:20 that morning, so we'll probably still be in there at 11. Oh well. I'll be on the lookout for you all anyway during the day! You'll be easy to spot - the well planned ones that don't look at all harried, because of the Dis!

I am really starting to stress, because I can't get on the planning the way I want to. In order to try to concentrate on these classes I have to finish up before we go, I just started a word doc on my laptop. When I think of something I need to get more info on or want to do.. I jot it there. So at least I'll have a to do list, for when I have time.

1. Any tips for conservation station? This will be our first trek out there.
2. What's up with Phineas and Ferb? Read they are at DHS now, but that's as far as I have gotten...

Those are the two off the top of my head! Back to legal analysis of special education cases...

We did the conservation station last year. I heard if you get out there right after the park opens, you can see them taking care of some of the larger animals (read Tigers, Lions and Wildabeast's oh my!) getting check ups and what not. Otherwise, enjoy the petting area, the goats are really friendly! This is where Jimminy Crickett, Pochahontas, and Rafiki hang out too! If you get there during a down time like we did, you get some great Character interaction! I have pics of YDD playing with Jimminy and it's soo cute!

I just ordered my photo pass CD! This is a first for me and I'm so excited! Someone please remind me, can I use it for photo's they take prior to meals like at Tusker House, 1900 Park Fare, and O'hana? I will be so photo pass card happy when we are in the parks!

We are also going to be having a family picture taken on the bridge in the Wilderness lodge in the evening! I've bought myself a white eyelette dress, DH a white polo and the girls have their dresses that I bought earlier this year too!

I just have to do a little because I'm excited for all of us! Our trips are going to be starting soon!
