Hmm. Better reread this thread. Green mickey how we're IDing other DISers?

That's what they use to do, did it change? I'm not sure, kind of get active on he boards when we are getting ready for a trip so maybe it has changed. Oh well, I will still use mine.

I will mostly be there when you guys are there, too. Even though I am going to the meet, the 20th is actually our first full day. We will arrive around 4:15 or so on the 19th

I do have the lime green mickey heads somewhere. I got them last time I went and left them home by accident.

I will be looking out for you too. Same description, if you see some crazy grandma with lime green Mickey Heads, chances are its me. I do hope to run into someone on he board, we have a pretty full touring plan and lots of people so a set meeting is probably out. I hope you both have a great time.

So...I know there is a meet going on the 20th, but for those of us that are going earlier in July, would anyone be interested in setting up a meet earlier in the month, like any date from the 3rd to the 11th?

Our first day in the parks will be July 3rd, our last will be the 8th ( my birthday) Our plan is July 3 and 8 MK, July 4 EPCOT, July 5 DHS, July 6 AK, July 7, free day wherever they want to go ( disney quest and waterparks?) and July 9th we could go to Disney Quest in the morning hours before we leave. I think it would be wonderful to meet up.

From what I have read, you can get a lime green mickey paint swatch from Home Depot, and pin it onto yourself or your purse or whatever .

I would be up for an attempt at a meet. We don't have park hoppers so I'll have to see where it is.

Sunday, July 10th, Magic Kingdom, maybe for a Dole Whip (I have wanted to try...)

Awesome, I have CP for lunch at 11:30, so maybe we say afternoon snack, 2PM?

This seems doable for me. We have reservations at the CP for 5:30ish that day. I don't really have a specified park for this day, so I'll just have to talk my DH into it. He isn't really into this type of thing, but he will just have to deal.

We will be in AK on the 4th. I wanted to try to avoid a firework park on that day. Plus, since AK closes a little earlier, we can enjoy the night at the Resort.

I cannot believe we are getting so close! I am planning to surprise DD7, anyone have any good ideas on how to do the surprise?

I just saw you have a DD7 Mine will be turning 7 on July 18th (we are celebrating on this trip!) They should have fun chatting at our little meet! My DD is a talker haha ... although I guess she could be shy too in this type of situation.

Anyway, we surprised her last trip in September 2010 ... she was very underwhelmed at first LOL She saw the Florida sign as we crossed the state line and that is when she figured it out ... I thought she'd flip out, but it was just eh ...

This trip we told the kiddos and they have been counting down days and such... seems more exciting this time for her (and my son really does seem to get it this time!)

Did you figure out how to tell her yet?

Oh wow, I have a chatter box also, they will have a great time for the meet!

As far as the surprise goes, someone suggested I make a puzzle and send her on a scavenger hunt for the pieces that she can put together to reveal the trip. I think its the perfect idea for a 7 year old, she will love it!

We have done the countdowns for past trips, that is always so much fun, cuz half the fun is the anticipation...
