Julie.. 15 days???!! I'm coming with you!!!!

Yes, in two weeks, I will be gone for 15 days.

We originally planned our week from July 2nd-9th, almost identical to last year. I've been using DH's July 4th holiday to help save him a day down the road. I teach so it doesn't matter when we go to me. Anyways, sometime in late February, we meet for dinner before going home and he asks if I'd like to go a week earlier. It turns out that there's a conference the week before our vacation in Orlando that he wants to go to (Bonnet Creek). So I change my airfare to leave on the 24th, he's flying out late that night. We're spending two nights at POR before moving to Bonnet Creek for three nights. Then I just said, "Well, it's going to cost us an extra set of plane tickets for me if I come home." So I managed to turn that into a three night stay by myself (at the Beach Club no less). And that's how I turned our one week vacation into two weeks.

PS: on July 28th (I think), I'm going to the Dominican Republic with my friend who was my maid of honor and her sister. I've never done a do nothing vacation before. As a kid, even if we weren't driving somewhere that day, we still had something to do that day; think "Vacation" but where it all turns out right and the theme park isn't closed at the end. I'm not sure that seven days on a beach are going to agree with me, but I have an iPad and my husband is sending me with his Kindle too.

Happy Anniversary to all that are celebrating. We celebrate our 20th on the 15th, but we are celebrating during our trip.

We are now in the 20's, 29 days to go.

Anyone want to help me pick ? I'll take a vote lol Btw, last time we let her find and do the puzzle Thanksgiving night after everyone went home. Our trip was 12/12/10. This time, I'm having a medical procedure in the hospital on 6.29 which is 2 days after her birthday, so I figure if all is well when I come home, I'll have it ready for her to do that day. I gotta get to work people!!

I'm jealous, I would love to take a vacation for that long, but I can't complain too much, this year we are there 7 nights, 8 days, our longest trip to the world.

I booked it for Meghan and DH...have never done it before but watched several youtube video's on it and I can't wait to see them get transformed!

I can't wait either. It will be at the end of our trip though.

Ugh...we still don't have a place to stay. My family cannot make a decision even though I've given them all of their possible options and we need to book no later than a week from tomorrow.

YIKES. Hoping your Aunt/Uncle make a decision soon.

Instead, I posted on FB that where I work is going smoke-free in 3 weeks and got a reply of "HOW DARE THEY BAN SMOKING IN PUBLIC PLACES." Maybe Disney World updates are safer!

I had the same question a week ago, got the DME tags, but still have not received the rest - I called Disney on Wednesday, she said that the additional packet is sent out through another company and it is due to be here any day. She also told me if I did not receive it by today, to call back. We leave July 12th, so just a few days before you. I will post when I get my second packet, but they seem to be at least a week apart.........I paid my balance on May 27th

Thanks for the input guys A short note about the sleeping picture. She did wake up after dinner and we did go see the Osborne lights, because it really was still early. I think by the time we were done eating it was around 6 or 6:30 pm. I am hoping this time when we go she manages to stay awake through dinner, because she missed all the fun stuff!

I still haven't gotten my ME tags yet. I was hoping this week

I am so excited for all of you that are getting Mickey Mail!!! Also a little bit green with envy because I really could use the boost! I won't be getting DME tags though so I know it will be a while.

So much still to do before we go....so little time. Although DD did get a bunch of tops and really looking at the boys stuff I don't think they need that much. I don't *really* need anything either other than some bottoms, so I think I'm just going to wing it.
