I have been MIA lately, but am going back and reading through everyone's PTRs and posts on this thread!

Hope everyone's planning is going well! I hate to see that their may be strikes for our UK DISers! That is something that is NOT fun to stress over when it comes to planning a disney vacation! I hope everything works out! Sending good thoughts and pixie dust your way!

I just got done with sponsoring the prom last night for 500 seniors and it went great. However, I really missed posting over the past week. We are now at 40 days and I see that someone's going to be at LC the same time as we are (at least, for our dinner reservation).

Question: where do I get the lime green Mickey?

We'll be at Tusker House for breakfast the same time!

I have decided to give contacts a try. I got them yesterday and can't believe how well they work. I thought for sure I would be constantly putting on my reading glasses to see things close up, since he only gave single focal lenses for distance. Now I don't have to worry about getting prescription sunglasses.



I do that all the time too

Lucky you - contacts will make it so much easier and you can see on roller coasters! I always have to take my glasses off and miss the scenery -lol!

I have contacts, but I normally only wear them for summer vacations (crazy, I know). The main reason is because I have an astigmatism (Sp?), and the contact to correct that is annoying as heck! But, I would much rather be able to wear sunglasses than worry about that. lol. I do have prescription sunglasses too though. So, on vacation, i take contacts, glasses and sunglasses (regular and prescription).... it all depends on my eyes that day! lol. I wish I didn't have to wear the stupid special contact though because otherwise, I would do contacts all the time.

I'm lucky, I only have slight astigmatism in one eye and I guess it does not require special contacts.

I don't plan on wearing the contacts every day because I really don't mind glasses, as I have been wearing them since the 4th grade for reading and the astigmatism. I just started needing them for distance 2 years ago and that was probably my own fault, since I was consistently wearing my reading glasses.

We are going to be at OKW July 17th-24th. This trip should be interesting... I'm not too big on staying with my family anywhere as someone is always grumpy... and we are taking my niece and nephew with us as well!

So, thats Myself, my parents, DS3, nephew4, niece7, DD9 and DS11.

I'm irritated at my sister because back in March (I think) I had reserved a character breakfast for all 8 of us. She very sternly told me her kids would not be joining us several times so I canceled that rez.... Last week she ok'd their tagging along..URGH!!!!! AAAAAHHHHH!!!! I'm going to try to make a new rez, but I doubt it will happen.... Also, I had planned a day trip to the beach to visit with my kids Great grandmother on their father's side.... wonder how that's going to work now that we have to take 2 vehicles...LOL!!

That is nice of you to take your niece and nephew. Good luck on adding people to the dining reservation. Maybe your parents will keep the other kids so you can still have your day trip. I bet the kids are very excited to be going. Have fun.
