Not much going on today, except that ....


WE'RE LEAVING AT 3:00PM!!!!!!!


Here's my day in a nutshell - Meeting, Meeting, Meeting, home for lunch to pack the car, Tie up some loose ends, meeting, close up the house, drive south.

I just read over my previous statement, and it went like this - Blah, Blah, Blah, pack car, useless 2 hours at work where I'll get little to nothing done, leave door to house wide open, forget my phone charger and have to run back in, drive south.

That about covers it.

A whole week ntil we arrive- ugh. The 4 of us driving leave Tuesday then the 13 flyers leave Thursday for our Magical vacation.

Went to get new tires on the car and the little guy at the shop insisted I didn't need new tires. I insisted that I didn't care, I wasn't going to drive 3000 miles round trip on tires that already have 42,000 miles on them. He said he wasn't going to promise to have them done by Tuesday since I really didn't need them. Long story short I wound up going to Wal-Mart for tires.

Still need to ge my LGMH laminated today. I think 4 will be pleanty. One for stroller, park bag, purse and camera case. Hoping to run into someone also sporting a LGMH. Think if the DGkids are being not so dear I'll just hide the LGMH so if you see us at one of "THOSE" moments you won't know it is me and then I can come home and read on the DIS about what you saw some kid at the park doing. Or about some old ladies reaction to the kids. Love to read som of that stuff, probably mostly started by peple with no children. I do expect a couple of meltdowns but nothing major.

I'm still here! Luckily, not for much longer!

Lots of people still here! Briefly, anyway.

I feel like that now, the days are catching up with me. I'm rushing like crazy to get everything done at work and get everything I "think" we may need for our trip..

This time I think I'm a little more organized. Well kind of. I have some stuff done already, like half the packing. I just have to do one more round of laundry on the weekend and finish packing and we're good.

And, you might notice that I'm sportin' a new ticker for our trip starting on my birthday in November.

We are at the airport in Washington right now waiting for our flight and i am on my phone. Our morning has been smoothe so far. No hold ups with TSA which rocks!! We have about an hour till our flight!!! See yall when we get there!

Well, just make sure you close the door! We do the phone charger thing all the time these days, so I can't comment to that Oh and have a safe trip!

A) crazy about the tire guy. I bet being a jerk loses him a lot of business. And how does he know he can't be done by Tuesday, it's still 4 days away. B) I think all kids have meltdowns at WDW (including mine) I'm convinced it's because everything is so stimulating!
C) I agree about every statement on the DIS and I read 'those' threads, too. I wouldn't post to one though!

I can't believe I just did this, but yesterday I booked a quick trip down from July 27 - 30th! Have I gone mad? My hubby just signed up for a seminar for the same dates in North Carolina and said to me "do yo want to come"? I said if I'm going South . . I'm going all the way South. So, I called up my sister (who always is up for a trip) and told her that my DD and I were going. Got a great Passholder rate at BC and a decent flight down.

I'm totally going to surprise my DD and not tell her until the night before (wake up is 5:45am). So now I can start some planning. Hope to see some of you down there!

Just noticed you are going on your 3rd anniversary...we are going for our 19th Have fun!!

We're going for our 20th, and my wife's birthday, and our daughter's graduation. Congrats to you both!

In 24 hours, we'll be on the road for our nice , short , relaxing 18 hour drive (straight through) to Disney!!!!!!

Changed last minute – July 14th – Magic Kingdom 8:00 AM Magic Hours. Splash Mountain and Space Mountain broke down for 2 hours. Went ahead and got fast passes for the two and then rode the following. Buzz Light-year, Carousal of Progress, Blue Line, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pooh and Snow White. Space Mountain fixed road it twice and then used fast pass for the third time. Got a fast pass for Space again and then rode the train to Frontier Land and watched the Country Bears. Rode Splash Mountain and got a fast pass for later tonight. Went to eat at Tony’s DD (Midori) ordered Garlic – Cheesy Bread and Spaghetti and Meatballs- I order Tomato and Mozzarella salad and flat bread sausage and cheese. Food was outstanding but the service lacked. Sarah had a large table of 10 that took too much of her time and kept us from getting the service we deserved. Princesses, Minnie and Mickey was at the Theater next to Tony’s so we stopped to visit, Autographs and Pictures. Minnie gave me a Birthday kiss. First kiss from a woman in 10 years and it had to be from a Mouse. Ha !! Ha !! You can now get fast passes for the Mickey, Minnie and the Princesses visits.

Returned to CBR around 4:30 PM to wash clothes and let Midori rest. We will go back around 8:00 PM until the park closes at 11:00 PM. We have fast passes for Splash and Space so we will get a good start tonight.

Edited 12:00 Midnight – Orlando Time; Arrived at Magic Kingdom at 8:00 PM rode Space Mountain 4 times, Buzz Light once, Stitch once, Blue line once, Splash Mountain 4 times and Thunder Mountain 12 times. During the Electric Parade and the Fireworks no one was at Splash and Thunder Mountain. Stayed in the Thunder Mountain car and rode the ride over and over.

Agenda for Friday July 15th - I think right now, we are going to Hollywood Studio's. Going to try a marathon of Aerosmith and Tower of Terror.

Haha wow! Everyone is leaving!! It's so exciting! I still have lots of stuff on my plate before I can even begin to pack x.x BUT my kitty is doing a bit better, her paw is still swollen But looks better than before.

Also, will be going to check out her boarding place tomorrow and if we like it, we'll be booking her to stay while we're at the world ^_^

On I-81 outside Harrisonburg, VA anew wifey is still driving. I never thought I'd see the day. Looks like we might just cruise straight through till morning. Second star on the right, right?

Amazing how that motivation is there on the way down. Yet I know on the way home, I'll be driving while the family is sleeping. Thank goodness for sunflower seeds and satellite radio!
