Those are hopefully are same dates as well but we will be at POP. Can't confirm until Jan when DH can get his vac approved.

I believe in the pin code fairy :tink:

I want to go July/Aug, but not sure if we should go value with my daughter as an adult or summer with her as a child (save 90 bucks). We'll probably go July 28 through Aug 4 to save the money and be there on her birthday. I'm hoping the pin code fairy will bless me. We'll likely be at the POR, but I just about salivate looking at some of the deluxe resorts. Mmm, Boardwalk, Contemporary and Poly.

I've been thinking about the food so long, I never paid much attention to the resorts. I was surprised to find it so hard to get a 5 person room at WL and AKL for a YEAR from now. All they had available were Deluxe club level rooms at the WL, and it was worse at the AKL.

HI! Do you think there will be a noticeable difference in the crowds the week that Deluxes go to vaule season? Now that we're staying at POP instead of WL, I'm trying to figure out if the week before val season would be less crowded? (or, since it's July, it won't make a bit of difference??)

I would love to go again in July 09, we went in July of this year so I'm not sure if we'll be able to go again in 09 or 10, but I'm holding out hope for a 2009 trip.

If a good rate comes out or I'm blessed with a pin code it would certainly help our chances of a July 2009 vacation!

I love WDW, we are going July 20-26, 2009. Went June 2008 (stayed at POR) and this early planning for 2009 sure helps beat the "I miss Disney Blues" !!!
Haven't booked yet as we are trying to decide which hotel will work best for my family of 5: me, DH, DD's ages 17 & 13, DS age 7. We will be celebrating DD #1's HS graduation at WDW !!! Here are our choices, any advice would be kindly appreciated:
AKL, concierge (stayed there in 2006 and loved it)
BWI, concierge (my 13 yr old's wish)
Contemporary, concierge
Help !!!!! :surfweb:

P.S. Hey to moeluv4u7 from NC, outside of CLT !!! :wave2:

We are thinking about WDW in July for our DS's graduation from high school also! We are trying to decide if we want to do WDW for 8 days and stay at a moderate or do 2 weeks (8 days at WDW and the rest at the beach) and stay at a value at WDW. Plus we have to find out if the DH can take the additional days off for a 2 weeker in the middle of summer because sometimes they are quite busy at work. We have stayed at POR and ASSports and enjoyed both resorts. I want to book and plan and plan and plan some more but can't right now and it is killing me! :rotfl2:

Count us in, although I haven't booked yet as we're still deciding on dates . The other hold up is I can't decide between 2 resorts....which is driving me crazy :crazy2:....which in turn is making me consider a split stay (which we've never done before :rolleyes1). So the only thing we DO know is that we want to go in July......we just need to make some concrete decisions .

We are booked for July 20-26th, staying at BWI Concierge !!! Time does not fly when you can't plan much !!!!

Ok i could not hold off any longer:surfweb: after talking about for a month about going in July I made the resv at POR for June 30th to July 10th:cool1: :cool1: I kept on debating between POP or POR. Now more planing:banana:

We've booked the French Quarter from 2nd July for 5 nights before moving to a Vista Cay condo for a week and Universal RPR for 2 nights. Can't wait.

Trying to decide which park and where to eat on 4th July. Thinking of Epcot as there is more space and it won't feel so crowded followed by a meal somewhere on the Boardwalk but I would welcome suggestions/comments.
:cool1: :yay:

Count us out. Anything from last week of May through first two weeks of August we avoid like the plague. Too hot, too crowded and no discounts; a perfect recipe for doing anything else but going to WDW.

Yeah! My b-day falls in July so DH told me he's taking me to WDW to celebrate !!!! I love July in Florida ... Water Park Time!!!

I'm new to this board (the Disney Resort Board) and I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips.

My folks live in central Florida. Could they book our room using their Florida Resident rate? The reason I don't want to book a package is that we honeymooned in WDW back in May 2005. We both got sick and we have days left on our passes (they are non-expiring passes). We would LOVE to just chill at a nice resort (Poly) and just hit the parks one or two days (one of those days being my b-day free admission).

Do Florida Residents have blackout dates? Does anyone know what a resident rate would be for the Poly? I'm not opposed to have them book two rooms so they could just hang out with us to celebrate.

Thanks all :0)

Were to eat to many choices not a big enough stomach or is it time?:rotfl: . It really depends what park you want to be at that night, at epcot I would say Red Dragon, Beirgarten that area Is our favorit to watch the fireworks and at MK there Is one place for us there Crysal Palace mmmmm:thumbsup2
what ever Place you chose hope you have a great time:)

Really, really considering July. We want to try a deluxe so may wait for the value season. Even though we don't have a set date yet, I have consulted UG for crowd levels and have made 2 different spreadsheets!!:surfweb: One comparing resort prices for our 3 date choices and another to weigh regular dining plan vs. deluxe dining plan. I think I've officially crossed the line to obsession:thumbsup2

Count us in. We are going to the Fort for the first time. If we get a good code I may switch us to another resort but otherwise we will be in the campground !

We have July 21-28 at the Poly. I wanted a specific room so Booked about two months ago.:yay: :yay: :yay:

Someone asked how to book since the website only gives you through dec 2008. You can call Disney and book much further out.

I booked through AAA and they take reservations much further out as well and they do have AAA rates for Summer 2009.
