July 2009, anyone else?

We're going mid/late July.... do you think that many people using the 4/3 deal will use it to upgrade or do you think that most will do it to save money? (I'm hoping that someone with a package at CR will upgrade to the tower to leave a garden wing for me!) :teeth:

So when do you think this deal will go live either by calling or on the WDW website? Do most deals usually start at midnight Eastern time or ?

I just called and I asked, and the cast member I spoke would not give a definate= she said they will probaly be extending it till summer. geesh....:rotfl: I'll be checking first thing in the morning

Yeah...I just wondered if there was some historical knowledge of what time past offers have gone into effect if we knew there were (probably) coming.:upsidedow

I don't think this rumor is far fetched. Travel Agents are sending out this announcement already. This isn't just Disney 'nuts' hoping for something or simply over hearing this from a CM. Disney has to let those know (who are trained in Disney Travel). I got an email from a Travel Agent friend of mine who works for AAA. This rumor is pretty solid.

I agree the rumor is solid - I'm just interested in whether these promotions usually are able to book starting at midnight or if they start at random times on the expected date.

This will be the second trip for us to WDW first trip was June 06 @ Pop Century. Now just trying to find resort for 5 @ a good price. Just had our 3rd daughter this past August. How are the crowds in July. The time period would be from the 19th-23rd may even add a day. Can't wait and havent booked anything yet but looking to stay @ All-stars resort in the suites or @ the cabins don't know yet. Any info on any of these resorts. Thanks.

Has anyone has a gathering of more than 5 ppl. It would be12 ppl total know how to go about planning a trip with that many ppl.?

just called Disney..No extension as of this morning...:sad2:

After calling and being told no extension..I was able to book it online!!

I originally wasn't going to take advantage of this deal because we are staying 6 nights, not 7 and we have APs so we really don't need a package. But my TA e-mailed me this morning and it works out to save me $277 over my AAA rate, plus, now I'll have 1-day base tickets to put towards a future trip! YAY!! :cheer2:

I am officially booked for July, thanks to the 4/3 extension!!:yay:

We will be at Caribbean Beach Resort from 7/15 - 7/22 then the Polynesian from 7/22-7/29. First time at both resorts!!

Wow the extension will help me out can't wait until I can book waiting on the tax return to get things going. Do you have to call in to use the code or can you do it on the website? If I can use it I will every penny counts at my house.:yay:

No code is required. Just reference or click on 4/ 3 deal..Only a $200 deposit is required to hold reservation

Hubby was on the phone at 6:30 am CST canceling our old reservation and booking the 4/3! We're getting 7 nights at CBR with tickets for $1610! Works out that we're saving about $400!

However, the CM was rude, and when my husband turned down the dining plan, she said, "so, what, you're not going to eat while you're here?" :confused3 I'm going to send an email to Disney in regards to this rude comment. It was uncalled for.
