I think PolyAddict post her AAA rate for AKL standard room a few posts back so you can get a feel for the potential discount. You could always call CRO or a TA to check for availability for your dates before you invest in a membership.

If you are looking for the discount applied to a package, which it sounds like you are, you will have to go with a AAA travel agent to take over the booking. I have not had good luck with our local AAA office. If you search around on this forum, you can find some threads with people who have had luck with particular AAA TAs who are also Disney Specialists and/or fellow DISers. Any AAA TA can assist you; you don't have to use a TA from your local office.

Thanks for the info. I got sent the info from Deb for Chanda a fellow diser and called and checked this morning. If we were staying in a savannah it would save us about 300 dollars but since we just booked standard thier rate was actually more than the rate that I had already booked... go figure. Makes me feel less mortified about paying rack rate if that is what we end up with though.

Have just booked a room at GF for 06/21 - 06/28

Just need an AP rate now. The CM seemed quite sure that they would be out by beginning of April - not long to wait now

Gave up waiting for our few nights end of June again this year.

Decided to stay with 3 nights @ Royal Pacific Resort (less than $200/night w/AAA rate) & visit the dark side for a few days. With the $85 tix; it's appealing.

Also; bit the bullet & used points for a Saturday date onto existing VWL ressie. For us, not much more than double the cost of AS pref.

Am I the only one who thinks the Values are really overpriced? Know we only paid around $70 night for ASMu pref. back in '03 same time period...pretty hefty increase.

Well, they're booking the Values up pretty solid, so evidently the market will bear the rates Disney is charging.

We're paying $104 for our arrival night at Pop in June (AAA rate). About the same as HI Express LBV and Comfort Suites Maingate. Also paying $100 for 1 night at a Comfort Suites in Hattiesburg on the way down. So, I think they're fairly priced right now.

is when we'll be happily at WDW. Staying at the fabulous Poly, probably lagoon view room (booking any day now!!) and probably paying way too much from the sounds of things here. What does AP mean? Where do I get one?

Ok well my husband and I are taking a spur of the moment getaway and there's no better place than Disney! I have booked Port Orleans for now but I was hoping for some kind of discount and really wanted to stay at the WL. We are DVC members but just used all our points for our Disney cruise and Disney World stay last month. I am hoping for some kind of discount to come our way for June!!

Subscribing!!! Praying for codes for July 7-14 as we are currently booked at Grand Floridian. Because of the construction does anyone believe they may offer codes at GF to allure guests during the construction (or am I wishful thinking)!!!

DRATS! We were booked in August for $125 @ the Swan. Trouble is, now we have to rearrange our trip. My DH and I are self-employed and he got something in August. So - early June will work for both of us.

I haven't been following the June code thread - so I'm not officially subscribing. I'll also keep my eyes and ears peeled for a S/D discount. I'm sure I won't $125, but something please.

Is the consensus that June discounts will happen the first week of April? What's the deal pickle???
