JoAnn #2 - that was awful, what they said to you on that thread. I'm surprised the moderators didn't step in!

This group is so great and caring about one another.

I tried to start a pirate race with the same rules we use here. We got to about 300 posts and some guy jumped in and called us "cockroaches" for considering 100's as pirates.

I overreacted (as I can sometimes) and told him at least someone was trying to be constructive and bring some entertainment to the board. Then he yelled at me (in caps) that he wasn't talking to me and I should just get over it. Someone else said he was welcome on the board anytime, and I decided that I would spend my DIS time with better friends.

Kinda sad that no one has noticed the keeper of the pirates has been gone over a month.

It hurt my feelings - but I can be a little too sensitive sometimes.

Hello all! Just a quick question about the FEs...when we get the little presents to go in them, do we need to have enough to give something to each family each night? Or how does it work? Thanks for the help!

The underwater camera is an Olympus Stylus 1030sw. It's waterproof to 10m.
The other pictures are taken with a Sony.

o.k. we've had WAAAYY too much time on our hands here folks, or should I say none of us accomplished much at home today (I'll not comment on you, Lucy!). JoAnn #1 knows the stats, but NEVER has two pirates been given in the same day! same month? OMG! THis is way cool! And the pirate picture to boot was crazy!!

I have enjoyed everyones pictures today. I have learned a lot about Burkina Faso especially since I had never even heard of it prior to JoAnn #2 and Aaron. Thanks for the "education"! Despite my "snide comment", Noah's mom, your underwater camera is so cool! You will have some treasures with that.........and love your house too!
