So, I planned a movie and pizza night thinking that I would call the family down the street that makes American style pizzas and have them deliver a couple - NO GO! There is no cheese in the whole city! ARGGGHHHHH!!!!

Guess it's pasta with noodles tonight.

At least we finally have ice cream - we had a three week shortage of cream at all the grocery stores. In order to get it you had to be on a waiting list when it came in - then you had to be first to get it. They ran out by noon! Plus it was almost $13 a liter!!!!!! (Let me tell you, that's some expensive homemade ice cream!!!!)

Actually, I bet DD5 would love pasta with noodles.

As for American Idol, my vote is for the big, extra large guy who looks like he could pound Simon into the ground with one swing. I don't remember what he sang this week, but I think he sang Garth Brooks last week. And I don't remember their names.

Well, there's the processed French "La vache qui rit" (Laughing Cow) cheese spread - but that doesn't count!

I missed the 1st act, I was making popcorn . You know I had such good intentions when I bought the air popper - healthy popcorn. Somehow I don't think the 1/2 stick of melted butter is helping but it sure is tasty!

I can't eat popcorn without butter and salt!!! I LOVE (and miss terribly) U.S. movie theater popcorn. The microwave stuff just isn't the same.
