I am glad you got minimal weather so you can make it to Miami!

I am so ready for spring............good sign folks......pitchers and catchers report to spring training in two weeks!:cheer2: You know that spring is coming!:flower3:

Anyone, besides JoAnn #1, have exciting plans for the weekend?

Go Cubs!!! I finally got my wish and headed to Mesa for the Cubs spring training last year - It was so much fun!

more later, time to go to work. big commute - walk into my living room ;)

Well we finally got some of that snow just in time for me to drive home in it after work. what fun not. I'm ready for Spring and warmer temp but around here it will probable be the end of may before that happens. Have a great weekend everyone!

Good morning all!

It's a somewhat quiet morning. Maggie came home early from school feeling blah yesterday. She's still asleep - it could make her lacrosse game interesting this afternoon - unfortunately, we have such a small team - they desperately need her.

Mike played broomball last night with a friend's youth group - Yes, we do have ice rinks in Texas. We had to hunt in the deep recesses of the storage closet to find gloves, though...:lmao:

Our traditional Superbowl party with two other families tomorrow. Mexican is on the menu - yum!

Tyler stayed home yesterday too - cold...had it all week (we had a snow day on Wed., thank goodness)...when he got up, I asked HIM (never, ever happens, but after his last report card I knew he'd be alright) if he wanted to stay home (I never let him stay home!):sad2: :sad2: :sad2: .....when he heard me ask him, his answer was huh?:faint: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
then he actually said, let me think if i have something important today.....
wow, are we maturing or WHAT!:cheer2:

Mexican food?!:cool1: :cool1: Our favorite!:cool1: :cool1: Went out for Mexican last night (after a whole week at home) and while driving there, a heavy snow squall (sp?)....by the time we came home we had icy roads. Totally worth it though!

Superbowl? Our family doesn't like football, except this year (probably why we are having snow this year) we watched the Penn State Rose Bowl game and the final Eagles game. I must say, though, GO CARDINALS!
Think we'll be home tomorrow night and make 'junk' for dinner.

Anyone else?:confused3

Jo-Jo#1 in Miami!:beach: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:sad:

Superbowl kicks off at 11pm our time...too late for me! I'll find out the score in the morning.

Besides, I'm still mad at the Cardinals for leaving St. Louis! :snooty:

I am not interested in it either. I will probably check in for commercials, but other than that I am looking for a good marathon! Usually TV Land has something interesting like Andy Griffith!!! :lmao: My kind of TV!:rotfl2:

We took Mallory out last night to celebrate her completion of her level 3 in gymnastics. She got a medal as a reward. She was pretty fired up!;)

Wal-Mart was a MESS today. I think everyone is panicing because they think we might get more snow. The Indy stations are saying 20% and Lucy, the official Dis weatherwoman says none or little......don't these people know Lucy is more knowledgable than the TV guys?????:rotfl:

Well, it's been movie weekend late at night down here in Miami.........we saw.......Slumdog Millionaire, Rachel's Getting Married and Australia!:thumbsup2

I believe those movies are showing in PA too!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Get home - watching the weather for Monday night and the east coast.....
this one could hit many of our new DIS friends:cold: :cold: :cold: :cold:
Lissa = what part of NC are you from?:confused3 :confused3

After over an hour on the phone I finally get through to someone at member services that can help. They have made changes to their system and i was only able to book for my family because you now have to pay for this when you book it. If you are a DVC member call member services tell them you want to book the Illuminations dinner and desert reception. They will connect you to the right person. If you are not a DVc member you call this number 1-407-939-7526. Tell them the same thing. You will need our grand gatherings number. The date we are booking is 7/17. In case you need it my confirmation number for this is M9723692. Our grand gathering number is 824529. Oh why did Disney have to change things they couldn't have just left it alone and this would have been so much easier. Sorry i couldn't book this for everyone.

We had a good evening with friends watching the super bowl. John made a seafood salsa, and a pineapple salsa. We also had Mexican cheese soup, boiled shrimp, and flan. All in all a good evening - for us it's all about the food and the friendship, not necessarily the game

In the commercial bowl - Bridgestone and Budweiser were the only two standout companies. I loved the Clydesdale playing fetch and the Mr and Mrs. Potato head from the bridgestone series, the rest of the commercials during the game weren't very memorable - I was disappointed in the Coke campaign, they usually come up with creative ads.

I really don't feel like talking to myself - I'll let someone else have it!

Good night All!
