Well, my weekend just took a crazy turn.........Jess's game was postponed due to rain until this afternoon and Ken's already there...........so........I'm flying to Boston today and we'll either drive back after the game or stay until tomorrow.............:goodvibes

My day will be a warm -up for next week when school will be back in session and schedules will be crazy once more. I woke up about 3:00am and couldn't get back to sleep and have been :surfweb: since about 5:00. John left just before 6:00 to shoot a 5k race downtown Houston.

Maggie slept over at a friend's house last night - I pick her up at 8:00 and off to a 9:00 dance class. Then home for lunch - back for a 2:00-3:30 rehearsal - they're dancing at a Houston Rockets' basketball game next month. Grab her and off to the Rice vs North Texas Football game which starts at 4:00.

How about we start having a question of the day? I'll start us off with the first question!!

What is your favorite Disney park to visit?

Mine is Magic Kingdom. When I'm there I feel like I'm really at Disney World. I love all the rides and the music there!

Hmmmm. I'd have to say I enjoy Epcot the most, but you're right, I never really fell like I'm there until I visit MK. Foolish me gets teary eyed every time I enter MK for the first time each visit.:lovestruc

You and I are exactly alike here! I HAVE to go to MK and cry the last time we leave each trip!:sad1: But the older I get the more I like Epcot. I love to walk around, taste the food and of course, THE MARGARITAS!! However, this summer we also tried the "orange drink" in France and it was AMAZING!! I don't know what they call them but it had Grande Marnier (sp?)! :dance3:

Great idea Kristin!

Well, I'll go with MK.........I love them all for different reasons but MK is what keeps me coming back the most.....

Definately California Grille. The service & food is top knotch. Although the real reason, I think, is that it looks so much like Palo (for those of you that don't know - Palo was modelled after CG).:worship:

Question 1:Question 2: What is your favorite restaurant in WDW and why?:goodvibes

Wow, good question....I think I will also go with California Grill. Service, abiance including the view, and food are all three top notch. I have never had a bad meal there. And the creme brule' (sp?) is :cool1:

Inside the parks, I would go with either LeCellier or Bistro de Paris. LeCellier is fantastic but much more reasonable than Bistro. I adore the cheese soup and risoto stuff filet. But, for the abiance and experience the Bistro is awesome too. We did the Chef's option with the wine parings and it was such a great experience. I sampled foods that I had NEVER eaten in my life.

Question 2: What is your favorite restaurant in WDW and why?:goodvibes

I know this one won't be popular, but I'm going to say Sci-Fi. We always go there every trip. Our food has always been great. We love sharing onion rings and getting the cookies and cream milkshakes for dessert. I think it's really a pretty romantic restaurant due to the lighting.

Now I just realized I need to book Sci-Fi for our marathon trip! I can't go to WDW and not eat there!!!

1. Epcot... A ton of food from different countries and it's a laid back park.

2. LeCellier or Casey's Hotdogs. MMM, good.

When our kids were younger, we always booked the Sci-Fi Diner (in fact we still do!)............they loved the old movies and drive-in theatre atmosphere!:thumbsup2
