Hi Cruisemates! In a little panic here...

I am wanting to add 2 more people to my reservation (and an additional stateroom) and I just looked on the DCL website...and it wouldn't let me select first dinner seating! Oh no! We have 1st seating but my in-laws would have second! Of course we can't dine separately and I do NOT want late seating! What's the chance first seating will open up? I think my TA is on vacation...I've left a couple of messages. This could really put a damper in my cruise plans.

Don't worry about this, I'm sure you can change it onboard or prior to your trip. Seriously, this WILL WORK OUT!

JoAnn is right. DON"T WORRY. Many folks change their minds and switch their times upon boarding. If DH & I get an early dinner in error as we want late seating, we'll switch with you.

I agree completely. On our recent cruise our friends booked their cabin after us and got late seating instead of early. Their TA (thanks Tracy @ DU) flagged their reservation and linked them to ours. By the time we got our cruise docs they were on early seating and at our same table.

Thanks everyone for your words of comfort about this late seating thing. My TA is working on it now. And Mrs. G...a huge big thank you for offering to trade.

We (3 of us) have early seating and are going to change (hopefully) to late seating....we are all DIS friends here and try to help each other out any way we can!

JoAnn- I'm so happy your parents will be joining us on the cruise. I still remember the sweet note your mom wrote to us last year. I'm glad your daughter is ok after her surgery.

My son is closing on his house in Houston next week.( he's the one that got married in Fla. after the cruise last year). We're flying down the end of August to see it.

Marianne- Thanks for the welcome back. I'm looking foward to seeing everyone again.

I'm taking the auto train to Fla. with my mom next week We'll be at her house in Vero Beach until July 27. My husband and kids are flying down on July 25. My son from Houston and my sister and her family from Va. are all coming. It's the first time since my son's wedding last August that we will all be together.,.,. I'm so excited! We'll be in Disney Vero beach from JUly 27-Aug 1 and WDW from Aug 1-8 at The Boardwalk. Wiil anyone else be there then?

Well those are great plans! You have an excellent memory! It looks like we will have a mini-Rent meet at our meet! I'll have to get my parents to start posting on this thread too!

We will only be in Orlando from 7/24-7/27 then on our first Wonder Double Dip cruise for 4 days then one day in SeaWorld on 7/31 then we're back home. We had to make a short trip this year b/c our youngest is going to her first year of college in early Aug.

We are meeting Lucy on Friday 7/25 for dinner in USF. Will anyone else be in FL that night?

Have a wonderful family reunion in Vero and BW, that will be great!

We ARE staying at the Boardwalk.......we'll be checked out of our room ( by checkout time) and then hanging out at hotel/EPCOT until our flight in the evening - taking Magical Express back to airport. Our flight is at 8:30 so it will be a long day without a room.....we've gotta set a time! I love to meet DISers and then keep in touch with them......

We leave SUNDAY....and I want you to KNOW, I am half-way packed.
The cosmetics are all put together (that is what takes FOREVER for me, I always fear forgetting something so I take EVERYTHING!), the clothing are picked out (another first for me!).....My DH has picked out all HIS clothing...NOW the teenager, which will PROBABLY, HOPEFULLY be Saturday night!
See, JoAnn was joking, gang, about packing . First, I don't like it, second, I'm spoiled and my DH packs for me!

We've gotta call SOON and book next year's resort (Saratoga) - the cruise is done, well, maybe, I'm going to ask our 22 year old if he wants to go along (paying his own way!) and if he says 'yes' then we must change cabins.
